After a long time preparing, Luvakhia suddenly declared war on Kalevala, breaking across the border with ease thanks to Kalevala not receiving any international aid. Kalevala was forced to retreat to better defensible positions and begin deploying only partially trained conscripts to stand a chance at holding back. Svealand wouldn't stand for communism encroaching itself into the Nordic region, and intervened on Kalevala's side as it declared war on Luvakhia. Luvakhia kept advancing as it declared war on Tanume as well, launching an invasion into its territory in order to secure the Baltic Sea, which was very successful as Tanume was soon forced to surrender as the 'People's Republic of Tanume' was born. Kalevala tried to reason for peace, but Luvakhia kept on its advance to spread communism.
The Luvakhian advance began to slow the further they moved until it eventually came grinding to a halt, leading to them deciding to launch a naval invasion of Scotland in order to keep up their advance. Svealand quickly had to pull back soldiers from the main front over to the invasion of Stockholm, leading to Kalevala's own efforts beginning to fail. Svealand failed to fight back against the invasion, leading to them announcing their surrender to Luvakhia. Now alone and surrounded, the remnants of Kalevala quickly collapsed under the weight of Luvakhia's advance. Now victorious, Luvakhia annexed territories all the way up to East Karelia and established the 'Socialist Republic of Kalevala' and 'People's Republic of Svealand' in the territories it did not annex.
