The SDS Foundation had begun tracking down a rumoured Crimsonist presence on Grand Jalakia Island (the largest island on Theia), eventually coming across a culture complex enough that it had been operating as an unrecognised country deep in the jungle. Seeing that 'containing' this threat would require significant force that nearby inhabitants (either Humans or Anthropophages) may notice them, the SDS Foundation pursued a diplomatic course of action (despite organizations such as the Church of Mekhane opposing this) by sending its most capable diplomats alongside a Mobile Assault Squadron escort to meet with the Crimsonists, which concluded in a success as the following Treaty of Adytia was signed by the two parties;
- The Crimson Republic of Adytium would become a recognised nation so long as it didn't engage in Anomalous activities in a way that the wider world would notice.
- Tourism was be restricted.
- The SDS Foundation reserved the right to contain beings and objects within Adytium whose Anomalous traits fell outside the parameters of the Veil Doctrine and the Crimson Faith.
- Adytium's sovereignty was guaranteed and the SDS Foundation would protect it as long as it didn't affiliate itself with The Great Uniter of the Crimson Cults
