Polsk gathered 5 Minotaur Class Battlecruisers, one Super Class, 3 Punja Classes, and the UPN Harbinger into orbit above the small Native nation of Q'nar before declaring war and launching an orbital bombardment campaign above the country. As the citizens fled underground, Q'nar the experimental 'Q'nar Laser Tower Array' onto the Polskan fleet, damaging several of them before they were taken out by a damaged ship crashing into them, forcing many ships to withdraw. Polsk began landing ground forces at this point, though they were ambushed by the Q'narans who blew holes intot heir underground tunnels to rush out, leading to a difficult mess without any front lines or coherency which forced Polsk to withdraw its forces. As the ships began firing onto the Q'naran armies, they set off more bombs to cover their escape back into the tunnels. Q'nar deployed 50 fighter planes to begin targeting Polsk's second wave of ground troops which included cloaked 'Ghost Soldiers', which proved to be enough of a distraction for Q'nar to launch 'boarding crafts' into the Polskan ships, piercing their hulls and releasing mustard gas into them before being dislodged, causing several casualties. Deciding that if Q'nar wouldn't be ethical, then neither would they as civilian targets in Q'nar were bombarded with nukes, although most of these were already evacuated. Q'nar entirely withdrew its army underground, only occasionally sending out raids as Polsk prodded around, finding a series of pipes in the centre of Q'nar Crater which exploded once removed.
Several teams were sent down to the ground alongside two Punja Class Frigates, using the crashed ships as a FOB as they began searching houses. Within the houses they found more listening tubes before the doors were slammed shut as gas emerged out of the tubes, coinciding with traps going off all throughout the city of Aqkhueln as they broke out of the house. As the traps were fired upon to disable them, explosions rocked a crashed ship to the north which the Ghosts were sent to investigate, revealing that the ship was sinking underground, revealing that a underground Laser weapon underneath where it had fallen was slowly chipping away at it as it attempted to breach the surface, soon blowing through the ship in a massive explosion. A massive exchange began as missiles attempted to strike the laser as the laser kept shooting them down until simply too many 'Fusion Missiles' were fired for the laser array to keep track of, leading to its successful destruction. Sand was thrown into the air as blasts went on underground, allowing Polsk to pinpoint the location of an enemy tunnel, breaching it with a massive laser drill as they stormed inside and began fighting Q'nar. A stalemate set in as Polsk was having difficulties pushing deeper into the tunnel network, while Q'nar was incapable of fighting off Polsk from the surface, but Polsk kept pushing for victory, drilling underground as they mapped out some of the longer tunnels. With the war being so slow, Polsk offered conditional surrender to Q'nar in which it would hand over technology to build better reactors as well as resources and insutry. Q'nar refused to give any resources in return for Polsk not paying reparations, bringing the war to a close as Polsk withdrew its forces back to Saturn, recovered all crashed ships for salvaging, and set up spy satellites. Q'nar would later reveal that they did not have Fusion technology, only the minerals used to sustain it.
