The newly formed Zapadoluvakhia held its first ever elections, leading to a victory for Kristina Novik's 'Towards Capital Party' which won 41% of the vote, while the White Luvakhia Party came second with 36%, followed by the Luvakhian Communist Party with 14%, and the Karelo-Kalevian National Coalition with 9%. The new government began to implement largescale reforms to implement a form of laissez-faire libertarianism opposed to neighbouring Luvakhia's communist system.
Despite the direction that Zapadoluvakhia had taken, it regardless made its ties with Groys-Baltik and Svealand much stronger despite the 3 nations possessing wildly different political systems and ideologies, seeing each other as regional partners despite their differences. Shortly afterwards, the 3 nations officially established the 'Baltic Assembly' as an economic and military alliance.
