Death of Safir Pianga

After the Sarpistani Assassination Plot of 131 CE, Safir Pianga was left in a coma which he was projected to recover from while his wife Sanaa Pianga took over leadership responsibilities. After years of being comatose, Safir's condition began to get worse and worse despite his assassin being already dead as his body desperately clung onto the last thread of life it had left. Heydar Pianga quickly rushed to Sarpistan to visit Safir in the hospital, seeing him stop breathing as his pulse stopped. The Sarpistani government promptly made an announcement; "Dear Comrades and Friends: The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Sarpistan, the Sarpistani Council of Ministers and the Presidium of the Sarpistan Supreme Council announce with profound sorrow to the nation and all working people of the Sarpistan that at 9:50 PM 29 March, Safir Pianga, Chairman of the Sarpistan Council of Ministers and Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Sarpistan, has died after a grave illness". According to the laws set forth in the Sarpistani Succession Reform, Sarpistan was to now be split into 3 sovereign states within the HASATBC while Sanaa would be granted an advisory position as she steps down from power.
The People's Republic of Khat and People's Republic of Hayah were granted independence while Yasin Pianga was sworn in as the next Supreme Leader of Sarpistan. Hongerswak vowed to guide and protect the 3 new states against any threats that may emerge from the north.
