After both Yetian and Sarpistani involvement in the Octoseparatist War came to an end, Sarpistan saw an opportunity to push Yetia out of its occupation zones in Jeriya and the Levant. Yetia was caught unprepared, allowing its enemies to advance quite easily. Facing difficulties in fighting back against the invading states, Yetia asked for aid from Apothelis, who had to refuse due to the situation with Quatritonia. Sensing an opportunity to weaken Yetia and end its 'imperialist ways', England intervened in the war as well.
Yetia was focused on fighting off its middle-eastern enemies, only for Vedaburg to suddenly announce that it was rising up in revolt against its Yetian rulers, allowing Sarpistan to keep fighting back, especially once North Italy joined them. Yetia was overwhelmed as its enemies advanced on all sides as Vedaburg invaded Palladia City. Once all lands east of those which Vedaburg had integrated were secured, friendly Anti-Yetian governments were established in the form of the Third Republic of Palladia and State of Ezon. Yetia managed to just barely push England out of Waclaw before requesting a peace treaty with its enemies, leading to Yetia being forced to hand over Anatolia and Thrace to Sarpistan, recognize the sovereignty of all the nations which had broken away from it during the war (whom had banded together into the 'Caligari Pact'), and recognize Maltese independence as well.
