After the events of the Second Nihilist War, a significant portion of Yata's population had lost their memories thanks to an outbreak of the Scandimaro Sleeping Sickness, leading to the now 'wiped' people to wander around in confusion as they established tribes and then societies. Poland was the first to be re-established, while the former lands of the UQSR were fractured among countless coagulated tribes before Iujadogia swept them all up and placed them under a provisional government. The ULSR had issues reintegrating its populace, only managing to secure nominal control over its territories as significant portions remained under local rule, especially outside of urban areas. Certain 'tribes' began to organize into proper societies, such as Sichilista in the far east of Asia, California in the west coast of North America, Mesopotamia in the fertile crescent, Sakkiang in east asia, as Brazil in South America. The ULSR threatened force to reintegrate the lands, Utsong and Sipedro attempted coercion, and Sarpistan started off using force. California and Brazil pursued peaceful solutions and returned certain territories in return for recognition. Mesopotamia was the most antagonistic as Sarpistan was actively bombing them and was unwilling to concede to the Mesopotamians, especially considering they had seized Sarpistan's capital of Baghdad.
Utsong kept trying to convince Sakkiang to accept peace while Sarpistan unleashed nuclear weapons onto Mesopotamia. Sakkiang signed a treaty with the UQSR which recognized its control over the Canton Quatritonian Socialist Republic, soon to be followed by it handing over its lands that were formerly in Nakmai. Sakkiang managed to barely agree to a treaty with Utsong which saw it return its lands in return for the Shanghai Province being granted autonomous status with open borders. Facing insurmountable military force, Mesopotamia capitulated to Sarpistan. Lineland took inspiration from Sarpistan's moves and launched an invasion of southern Sichilista. The UQSR felt threatened by this due to the ULSR's more state-directed approach to communism clashing with Sichilista's and theirs more libertarian approach, prompting them to hold a internal vote which lead to them beginning to support Sichilista. Conflict between the ULSR and UQSR threatened to break out as the ULSR clashed against UQSR volunteers in Sichilista as bombers flew above and artillery bombarded enemy soldiers while the Linelandic army quickly seized major infrastructure. Sichilista tried to fight back with a soundwave bomb which caused countless Linelandic soldiers to either go deaf or suffer extreme hearing loss. Lineland equipped ear protection as it launched a new armoured offensive, which Sichilista stopped by using shielding technologies until the ULSR managed to seize the nation's highways. As the shields rose once more, the ULSR began drilling under them as it sanctioned the UQSR for its support. These emerging drills lead to significant clashes between Sichilistan forces as they fired rocket launchers onto the drills. Lineland and Sichilista then had a discussion as the ULSR demanded that they stand down in return for autonomy, which Sichilista called pointless as they were now a distinct people. Despite Sichilista's continued resistance, the ULSR eventually emerged victorious as Sichilista was simply too outnumbered.
After the conflicts concluded, the Treaty of Tritonia City was signed which saw the California Technocratic Socialist Republic have its independence recognized, the Canton Quatritonian Socialist Republic was given to Sakkiang, and the Republic of Brazil was recognized internationally.
