Not to be confused with the "Ascendancy of the Nornir"

The Ascendancy saga refers to the collection of YATA lore surrounding the counter-insurgents and their subsequent adventures. As of 10/09/2024, the saga is comprised of 8 books and three interlude chapters. The saga surrounds the machinations of the SDS as well as the plots of several powerful beings that threaten the universe.

Books

Book 1 - The Insurgency

"The Insurgency" takes place at the same time as the Yomtach invasion of the human world - the Insurgency. The main characters are Andrei Varady and Cormac Connolly.

Book 2 - Daybreak

"Daybreak" takes place during the SDS-001 crises on Theia. The main characters are Andrei and Cormac.

Interlude - The Creature, part 1

"The Creature, part 1" takes place after the SDS-001 crises, focusing on the lore of a specific artefact from Book 2. The main characters are Nadia Szilagyi, Jimmy Navarro, Eldric de Laitinie, and Samuel Gordon.

Book 3 - Total Annihilation

"Total Annihilation" takes place during the second Theian SDS-001 crisis known as "the annihilation." The main characters are Andrei, Cormac, and Lazuli.

Interlude - The Creature, part 2

"The Creature, part 2" takes place following the Annihilation, focusing on an SDS entity known as "The Revenant." The main characters are Jimmy and Carbonado.

Book 4 - The Divine Resurgence

"The Divine Resurgence" takes place during the brief return of divinity to Theia. There is an ensemble cast of the Theian gods known as "The Nine."

Interlude - Carbonado and Wisteria

"Carbonado and Wisteria" takes place following the final demise of the Theian gods. The main characters are Sakura Sakamoto, Nikolay Petrov, Eucleia, and Carbonado.

Book 5 - From Dusk to Dawn in Miyaki

"From Dusk to Dawn in Miyaki" takes place during the end days of the Miyaki Project. The main characters are Sakura, Wisteria, "Haru", and "the cameraman."

Book 6 - Once more, unto the Digiverse!

"Once more, unto the Digiverse!" takes place during Carbonado's plot to digitalise the universe. There is an ensemble cast consisting of Carbonado, Andrei, Cormac, Samnsonite, Lazuli, Sakura, Ruby, Sapphire, Anahita, and Isla.

Book 7 - The World Machine

"The World Machine" takes place during Cormac's plot to ascend to "godhood" through the fourth dimension. The main characters are Daniel Rand, Peridot, Andrei, Carbonado, and Cormac.

Book 8 - The Flavros Project

"The Flavros Project" takes place during the discovery of, and effort to stop, Amesidian's mysterious "Flavros Project." . There is an ensemble cast featuring Daniel, Peridot, Diamond 1 and 2, Clotho, Sakura, Earendel, Amesidian, Lazuli, Ruby, Sapphire, Wisteria, and Isla.

Book 9 - Guinevere Lacrimae

"Guinevere Lacrimae" takes place immediately where The Flavros Project leaves off, focusing on a mysterious "portal clock" that was created when the Project was destroyed. The main characters are Wisteria, Camellia, Isla and Sakura.
