All of the sudden, missiles truck Yetia's communication systems as an army of unknown assailants landed on the country's shores to take over, swiftly overthrowing the Yetian government and executing its leaders, which prompted neighbouring Francia to intervene by launching an invasion of Yetia's small remaining territories, forcing the assailants to flee back into the sea to wherever they came from as Yetia was finally annexed into Francia in its entirety. Months after the war ended it was discovered that the missiles and likely the entire army had come from Hyperborean-occupied Iceland which prompted the CSIS to begin spying on Hyperborea with satellites as a show of good faith, though despite Hyperborea being exposed as the one responsible for the war, Francia reaffirmed that Yetia's integration would continue regardless.
