Luxuria took notice that Nay'Bling had grown very rich in the recent years, so it declared war to seize the territory. Luxuria was promptly notified that it had declared war on a member of the Anti-Luxuria Coalition, prompting the rest of the coalition to declare war on Luxuria to protect their ally. Seeing this as an opportunity to reclaim Meninguo and Kitayato, the recently reunified Lineland joined the war on Luxuria's side.
