A war broke out among two Yomtach clans on the island of New Guinea, namely the Kyrif Rogalk clan and the Ahteat Tnes Ranrujg clan over a border skirmish. The ATR Clan's forces made a series of early successes, pushing deep into KR lands until a highly talented KR General by the name of Esuap managed to organize a swift and effective counterattack with tactics so strong they had never been seen before. This general's tactics caught the attention of the Second Yetian Empire, who set a bomb on Esuap's boat to injure him to a state vulnerable enough for them to capture and take back to Yetia, where they fixed him with prosthetics and inducted him into the Yetian military. The conflict between ATR and KR would promptly fall back into a stalemate of sorts, leading to an eventual peace favouring the ATR.
