Osanian National Reform Law
In January 251, the government of Osania passed the 'National Reform Law' which officially dissolved the 'Theian Confederation of Osania' and replaced it with the new 'Federal Republic of Osania', abolishing the current confederal system between the nation's 3 regions of Osnoa, Aania, and Nislandia so that a new much more local federated system could take its place, with various new regions being drawn up by a independent committee. Additionally, Osania transitioned from being a semi-presidential republic into now being a parliamentary republic where the President's powers were greatly decreased in return for empowering the Prime Minister. After the passing of the law, President Karl Nieminen resigned and was replaced by Juho Turunen of the liberal-conservative National Osanians Party.
