A Zerg hive was established on the border of The States of Terria, allowing them to launch raids into the United Rim, leading to a series of skirmishes as Zerg Leviathans kept attacking into The States of Terria, The Star States, and the Chimerans, seemingly preparing for a full-scale invasion. Elsewhere, Zerg forces also raided the Protoss Empire, leading to a Protoss counter-raid that led to the complete glassing of Eldersthine to the point of becoming completely uninhabitable as its mantle was essentially exposed, covering the planet in a molten mess which wouldn't cool down for centuries which the Zerg were unable to repopulate despite their best efforts. The Zerg were angered and began preparing for revenge.
After some time, the Zerg launched their attack on Ankoku, Kouran, the Star States, and Terria by invading and infesting Vula, prompting the Realm of Orion to come to their defence while the Neuvum Combine and Protoss sent logistical support which allowed Terria to launch the 'Deltost Counteroffensive' with mixed success. As Zerg forces began moving towards Deltost, the United Rim managed to gain support from the Protoss Empire against the invaders. Once Zerg forces reached Deltost, the planet was largely evacuated to avoid the incoming infestation, opening a gap in the Terrian defences which the Zerg used to punch through with massive Leviathan fleets, which also began attacking Mariomoth Space which caused all Chimeran splinters to begin attacking the Zerg. Protoss forces began to damage the Zerg invasion by attacking their supplies, forcing them to grow forces within their occupation territories (which was easy when it came to soldiers, but growing the incredibly vital Leviathans was very difficult). With Leviathans heading towards Terria (planet) itself, Terria repaired its defences and began preparing for the incoming Zerg, which was quite successful as the Zerg found the Chimerans' resistance 'interesting' enough to divert resources to attack them. Just as the Zerg began to surround Terria, a Protoss fleet arrived out of unclaimed space and glassed Vula due to the planet being completely infested by Zerg, causing enough of a setback for the Zerg that they pulled out of Chimeran space and near Terria as the Zerg now only controlled Deltost. A Leviathan crashed on Terria itself which lead to Zerg beginning to infest the planet, necessitating largescale glassing of the regions where the infestation spread. The Zerg quickly managed to recuperate from their losses and launched a counterattack which pushed the Protoss and Chimerans back a bit and devastated the Terrians' forces, prompting Kouran to stop supporting dissidents in Chimeran space in order to bring all of their forces against the Zerg. The Zerg managed to hold back and repel a Chimeran advance towards Deltost while Leviathans began infesting enemy ships.
Zerg forces managed to ambush the Protoss expeditionaries, causing significant casualties. Zerg forces began pulling back from Vula as they invested a space-station to use as a breeding ground to expand their Leviathan count, which over time expanded to the point of creating a nebula. Zerg forces attempted a massive attack against the Chimerans, though their thousands of 'swarm-ships' slowed the Zerg, prompting them to begin birthing smaller fighter-like creatures such as Zerg Mutalisks and Zerg Corruptors. Omnimoderati ships clashed with the Zerg, who attempted to infest as many as they could, leading to a lot of chaos, though the infestation situation was a struggle for both sides due to how abnormal and difficult to operate the cockpits of Chimeran ships were and how muscular and powerful the Zerg were. Chimeran forces reached Deltost, positioning themselves 800km away from the planet as they secured supplies and defended against the swarms of Mutalisks as the Overmind tried to speak to them telepathically. The Zerg attempted to stop the seemingly inevitable attack on Deltost relentlessly, throwing thousands of Leviathans at the Omnimoderati fleets repeatedly. With Terria desperate for aid, Protoss probes established warp gates which allowed their Golden Armada to come through, immediately blocking Zerg advances towards Kelt while the Chimerans finally attacked Deltost, causing the Overmind to begin panicking as it tried to calm itself by speaking of how it had 'created something for the Zerg's salvation that would free them from slavery and agony'. Protoss forces landed on Vula's service to clear out the Zerg after their air support was destroyed, soon being joined by the Chimera Core Sectors' forces (after they were told that bombarding the planet was unnecessary as the Protoss could clear out Zerg with fire and plasma -based weapons). Chimeran, Rim, and Protoss forces advanced rapidly against the Zerg remnants, who promptly fled back into Zerg space.
With the war over, the Chimerans were pressured to return back to their own territory in return for the Kourans no longer sabotaging their unification process and recognizing Chimeran rule over Morta, leading to a non-aggression treaty being signed on Trai which preceded all Chimeran warlords unifying into a confederated union ruled by a council of local rulers.
