After the Second Inter-Yetian War, the entirety of Yetia was left under a unstable yet nominally monarchist provisional government. With the country beginning to rebuild, the question of permanent leadership appeared the first to be willing to take up the mantle was ex-Queen Catherine III Yetevia-Anssen, which a majority of the in-power United Front approved of. A dissident faction of republicans was greatly angered by this leading to the New Republican Movement rising up in rebellion. After a series of fierce battles, the Yetian government managed to restore order in its eastern territories as all revolutionaries were disarmed and detained.
