World War 13
Continued military rule over Lineland ever since World War 12 grew increasingly unpopular as the protests seemed to never come to an end, so the government requested advice from the international community, leading to Nakmai recommending using more military to make them stop. This failed completely as everyone got mad over the Duma being dissolved and replaced by a military council. Angered enough by the crisis, largescale uprisings broke out in Yakutsk as the 'Anti-Militarist Coalition' rose up against the government. Thanks to the AMC being largely composed of anti-communists, Yamalia decided to come to their aid in order to rid themselves of left-wing neighbours. Lineland reacted harshly and prepared to fight off its enemy conquering its east as fast as they could to secure it before Lineland's unforgiving winters set in. While the AMC and Yamalia besieged the still holding our cities of the far-east coast, Lineland pushed up the Yenisei deep into Yamalia, which Yamalia rushed to contain as the 'battle for the yenisei' began due to Lineland funnelling all the forces it could into the region. Lineland managed to successfully cut Yamalia in half despite their attempts to stop this. The AMC pushed deeper and deeper into LSFR territories as they proclaimed the 'Linelandic State' after purging all liberal and left-leaning members of the coalition. With the LSFR slowly dissolving, Manchuria was the next to revolt against the government and aligned itself with the AMC.
Angered by the AMC's purges, several communist remnants within the territory of the Linelandic State began rising up under the banner of the LSFR as they regarded the AMC to be even worse. Yamalia and the State decided to simply hold off the enemy as long as possible on the main front while dealing with the incursion up the Yenisei and the communist uprisings. Seeing as they were having quite a few difficulties, Yamalia decided to ask its allies in the Anti-Communist Defence League for assistance, which the CSY was very eager to provide despite Texas reminding them that this would technically cause a world war, so the ACDL officially joined in to fight the LSFR. The LSFR was in fact a member of the ACDL's enemy known as the 'Aundzer Alliance' lead by Nilastan, so they discussed if they should respond to the situation, which most of them agreed upon following thru with aside from states such as Nakmai, and Poavak opting out. The first major international fighting would occur in north america, where the SSY and its southern neighbours backed up by Sipedro fought each other. The next place to see combat was europe, where Italy and Vedaburg began coordinating to hold off against their much larger communistic neighbours, eventually deciding to launch an offensive strategy advancing into the enemy, eventually managing to capitulate Ezon. Sarpistan managed to occupy border regions of Hayah next. Fighting resumed in Lineland as the two warring factions how had international backing, with the Anti-AMC uprisings now organizing themselves into the Yakutian Linelandic Socialist Republic.
Cocala and its southern neighbours pushed northwards into Sipedro while the SSY and CSY clashed, though an opportunity soon arose as Sipedro caught wind of anti-communist movements spreading throughout Itachia, so it utilised Lustlandian spies to organize these movements into the 'Itachian National Restoration Front' so that it may rise up in rebellion, prompting Lizarb to join the Aundzers' war effort. Largescale SSY-aligned partisan uprisings began forming across Yorica, especially in Nuevopedro, though Sipedro was unable to help as Lizarb had invaded its coast. Yetia began pushing into Italy, forcing them to set up a defensive line until Vedaburg could come to save them as the two launched an offensive north to cut off the Yetian-backed 'Venetian People's Front', successfully encircling significant portions of Yetia's army. Facing such defeats in the south, Yetia decided to attack north and organized 'Operation Aurore' alongside Luvakhia to invade Svealand despite them being neutral. The war in Lineland continued as the AMC directed Yamalia to send forces to crush the Yakutian LSR at the cost of allowing the LSFR to push on the main front, as then they wouldn't need to split their forces between the two fronts, which once successful allowed ACDL supply shipments to begin arriving to help Yamalia and the AMC. Manchuria decided to take advantage of the new resources to launch an incursion deep into Lineland to instigate a civil war via recruiting local separatists and revolutionaries under the ideals of the Anti-Militarist Coalition. This soon proved successful as the LSFR began quickly collapsing as local militias and warlords rose up and seized their home regions, either aligning with the ACDL, Aundzers, or themselves alone. While this was initially contained to solely the LSFR, regions under Manchurian and AMC rule began to fall apart as well. Yamalia and the new de facto 'Linelandic Federation' rushed to capture the LSFR government as before the warlords could, managing to capture military-dictator Aleksandr Vasilevsky and imprison him while the rest of the LSFR's territory either fell to local warlords or hung on under the military remnants hugging the Tritonian border. With the LSFR defeated, the 'AMC' abolished its centralized structure as several local governments broke free from Linelandic control. With Lineland now able to support them, the ACDL states in North America were now able to push back the SSY and clear the partisans, soon being followed by English forces landing in New Vandam, which together lead to the SSY proposing a conditional peace where it would lose significant territories in return for its continued existance, which thee ACDL accepted. The next front to see action was Europe, where the ACDL planned to slowly chip away at the enemy armies as they were significantly outnumbered in the region. As England landed an army into Yetia, Vedaburg and Italy launched an offensive thru Yaverncost to connect with them so that Yetia would be cut in half. The Linelandic Federation did attempt to centralize its rule, but this ended in disaster as all it accomplished was the collapse of the rest of its lands. In europe, Vedaburg and its allies began pushing into Niederbach, seeing major successes despite Yetia's bombing campaigns. After a while, the ACDL began running out of steam as Yetia, Luvakhia and Sarpistan launched major counteroffensives into their land. Vedaburg came to the conclusion that all they could do was wait for their American allies to come to their aid.
Meanwhile in Lineland, the Linasgrad Government and Yamalia began cooperating to restabilize the nation by first connecting each-other's borders by destroying the Lena-Olenyoksky Socialist Worker's Republic due to them being communists, though this situation was taken advantage of by the Balunsky National Liberation Front, leading to the region being split between Linasgrad and Balunsky, who aligned itself with the AMC. Fighting next broke out in the far west as the Omsk Military Directorate was attacked by the Lineland Military Remnants, leading to them quickly being overwhelmed due to the Surgut Free Republic also attacking from the east, forcing them to flee into Yamalia. Linasgrad next wiped out the small South Pravda Clique over its communist sympathies. The next state Linasgrad went after was the 'Yukaghir Confederation' established by local non-Rus natives due to its social-democratic sympathies, while to the east the Holy Order of Abyysky conquered the liberal Oymyakon Republic and to the north Balunsky conquered the New Waclaw Republic founded by Waclawan emigres. Balunsky and Linasgrad formalized their alliance as the two promised to defeat the 'New Kingdom of Lineland' together later on. In order to avoid attacks from Almatsk, the Khanty State unified into Surgut. The Mongol Democratic Republic and Hulunbuir-Mongol Socialist Federation signed peace with one another. The Buryatian People's Republic and Mongol DR collaborated to invade the Ozergorod-Buryat Federation, prompting the Linnas Reykh to attack from the west and the North Baikal Republic to attack from the north. Linasgrad next attacked the Amiginsky Black Army due to its anarchist sympathies, catching them off guard and wiping them out. Linasgrad next moved to help Balunsky with its invasion of Ust-Yansky, managing to conquer half of its territory while the rest fell to Abyysky. In Turkestan, the Republic of Almaty and Republic of Pavlodar disagreed on who should rule a potential union between each other which resulted in an argument in which Pavlodar began conquering its smaller eastern neighbours out of spite. Pavlodar then turned around and attacked Almaty, proclaiming the Republic of Turkestan once it won. Yakamoto decided to take advantage of the war at this point, launching an invasion of the Yuzhno Free State. To the north, Balunsky invaded the Collective Army of Novosibirsk Island. Next the fight to unify central Mongolia began as the Mongol DR invaded the Republic of Mongolia while the East Kazakh Republic invaded the Oirat Kingdom. Once both the Oirats and Republic were wiped out, fighting broke out between East Kazakh and the MDR, concluding in a East Kazakh victory which also allowed them conquer the Realm of Inner Mongolia so that they could proclaim the 'Steppe Republic'. Yakamoto made its next move by invading Perezatski while Manchuria invaded Jilin Republic and Khanka State, which prompted Hulunbuir-Mongolia and the Shenyang People's Front to unify into the Manchu People's Union. Linasgrad continued its conquests by wiping out the moderate Nyurbinsky State and then the left-leaning Mirminsky Farmer's Commune and Yakut Red Army. The Tunguska Military Directorate promptly integrated itself into the Linasgrad Government. Abyysky made moves of its own as well, swiftly invading and conquering the Sichilista Independent Republic, Linnas-Sichilista Collaboratory Directorate, Magadan Naval Republic, Chukotka Revolutionary Worker's Republic, Kholodok National Security Front, Koryak Republic, Northern Expeditionary and Naval Forces, and the People's Republic of East Lineland. Yakamoto continued its intervention by conquering Dongfang Jingjie as the Manchu People's Union conquered the Republic of Manchuria.
Several Linelandic warlords had gathered enough power to launch a largescale conquest of their weaker neighbours at this point, each launching massive invasions of their local regions. Most of Lineland was soon divided into much larger regional powers except for the far-east, where Abyysky launched an invasion of Balunsky, freaking out Lineland and Yamalia. As Yamalia and Lineland prepared to devise a plan against Abyysky, they all of the sudden launched an invasion of Lineland, which Yamalia didn't help against out of fear. Once Lineland fell Yamalia managed to secure an armistice with Abyysky as 'King Elmo granted Yamalia mercy until unity may drape forth the sun of darkness over all Russians', prompting Yamalia to have a panic attack and call the ACDL, who was unable to help. Abyysky continued its conquests, wiping out the Linnas Reykh, Steppe Republic, Almatsk Government, Turkestan, and Manchu PU. Seeing that it could not win, Yakamoto withdrew from Lineland in return for peace, which Abyysky accepted as 'Lineland must be draped under the dark sun to be purified first before the final judgement of the outside world'. With all resistance defeated, the Holy Order of Abyysky under Bohdan Abramov.
Terrified of the new monstrosity mumbling nonsense about how every country should 'silence corrupt darkness, free their thoughts, and prepare for the dark sun', Nilastan proposed a peace agreement between the ACDL and Aundzers, which both sides accepted as a negotiated peace was put into place;
- Sarpistan was to withdraw from Hayah.
- ACDL forces withdrew from Yetia in return for Vedaburg annexing parts of Ezon.
- Palladia was placed under Luvakhian occupation.
- The Itachian People's Federative Republic gave up some power to the Itachian National Restoration Front.
- The Confederate States of Yorica annexed territories up to the Missouri River and New England.
Concern over Abyysky's existence and actions spread quickly, especially as it aligned itself with the Omnistat and abolished autonomy and rights for all non-Rus citizens. Yamalia noticed strange activities in Linasgrad as well, noting how all snow-ploughing activities had ended and fires spread throughout the nation, with even more smoke coming from strange chimney structures.
