First Contact with Blargs
Mind Block Investigation
Once more, (older) Yetians across the world experienced episodes of screaming about static and 'cores', prompting Yetia and Sipedro to collaborate on finding a cause for this as they suspected a disease was the cause. During routine x-rays of affected individuals, Yetia found something weird as it appeared that they all had a strange implant in their heads which didn't match the design of those in the people that were mind controlled by the NLE, as instead of being more covert these resembled large cubes. Yetia then began surgeries to remove them, prompting the affected individuals to yell out about how they were finally free before fainting for a time. Yetia then analysed the implants, finding out that they were full of a jumble of corrupted orders which failed to be properly registered, calling for previous orders to be followed, to cause societal instability, and to re-activate 'alpine facilities'. After extracting an implant, it would self-destruct soon afterwards. As the two countries had surgeries to remove the implants among their older Yetian-born citizens (with those that hadn't beginning to get strangely violent), Yetia had decoded that the jumbled orders originated from a radio tower in the Svalbard archipelago. Sipedro remarked how it had investigated the region previously, prompting both of them to launch missions to the region. All planes either vanished or somehow returned, all hot air-balloons were shot down, while finally a submarine managed to slip in undetected and report back as it claimed to spot a robot carrying a bucket in a smoggy landscape. The Submarine promptly travelled to the north coast of the islands, finding a massive test tube full of pink fluid that was being electrocuted and fed meat. Sipedro shot a torpedo to destory the test-tube, leading to the smog clearing. They next found a radio tower that matched up with Yetia's reports of signals emerging from the region, but they failed to destroy it due to being noticed by the robots which shot the Submarine until it sunk. The satellite dish promptly pointed north and sent out a signal into space, though what this did remained unknown.
The Meteor Analysis
A flash was seen in the sky before some-kind of comet suddenly impacted a valley in the Safed Koh Mountains, which was soon located by a Sipedroan team. Seitonia soon took notice of this due to its proximity to their territory, noting that it had a strange black fluid full of strange crystals oozing from it, which were taken as samples back to Asolab. They found out that the fluid acted akin to a fertilizer and the crystals acted much like seeds, easily seeping into dirt and growing out a orange-coloured fruit which was described as incredibly sweet but was very lethal as fluid within it would drown a person's lungs. The fluid itself was quite chemically unstable and very toxic, while the crystals largely resembled Lazurite with a organic 'seed' in the heart of them, prompting Seitonia to attempt using it as fuel which appeared to be efficient yet unsustainable as the fluid quickly corroded all containers it was put in when it was under the stress needed to maintain reactions. The fluid appeared to begin flowing very weirdly unlike how it should, prompting it to be put into the Section J Pressure Chamber for analysis, only for it to all pool at the door and begin bashing at it as if it was alive, breaking through the first layer of the airlock and beginning to break down the second as well for a time before breaking through, flooding the corridors as it moved as if it was alive. The fluid quickly attempted to escape the facility via the railway tunnels, only to find them flooded by Seitonian authorities in order to block it, prompting it to swim in and harden into a circular mass so that it can follow the currents to an exit tunnel. Soon afterwards, the facility's entrance door began to be banged on by sick people begging to be let out, which they were. These people claimed to have been attacked by something prior to becoming sick, leading to them coughing up black droplets which lead to them being quarantined and put on their sides in order to avoid drowning.
Sipedro sent another team to analyse the meteor, sending their elite 'Team 11' lead by Pake Jaul to look at it, leading to them touching the fluid once they arrived. The fluid filled their bodies and seemed to puppeteer them after drowning them, leading to most of the team being 'seized' by the fluid. All 'seized' individuals died soon afterwards, allowing all fluid within the meteor to coalesce and surround the survivors, promptly drowning them just as they sent a final signal containing video footage to Sipedro.
After recontaining a sample, Seitonia introduced it to a patch of farmland in its biodomes, which it immediately reacted to and entered. WIP
