Angered by Great Sizzle's actions that lead to the 28th Yetian Civil War, Abard decided to take a stand against Great Sizzle by launching terrorist attacks all over its territory, soon being followed by Abard proclaiming the Second Abardean Empire and declaring war on the Kingdom of Great Sizzle. Abard quickly occupied Camp-Dalt, forcing Great Sizzle to land in the ruins of Capetown, forcing Abard to retreat after they lost an initial engagement. Sizzle soon reclaimed Camp-Dalt while its subjects occupied the north-west as they marched towards New Abard, leading to Abard blowing up the fortress in the city so its basement would be inaccessible. Sizzlean forces managed to seize much of the outskirts of New Abard while the encircled southern portions of the country were secured. Despite receiving some supplies from Humambo, the Abardean army soon collapsed as all major cities fell to Sizzlean forces, leading its final remaining soldiers surrendering after being stranded in the Kalahari. After defeating Abard, Great Sizzle annexed the entirety of Abard as a new region within its country.
