Due to growing tensions ever since the Confederate Crisis of 231 and several pre-emptive strikes, conflict broke out between the Nuelo Pact of Yetia and the Tritonian Confederacy against the allies of Lineland, sprialing out into a world-wide conflict as a web of alliances triggered into a global war for nearly a year. Yetia's desire for revenge would eventually become the world's undoing as once enemy forces approached Yetia City, the launch of 5 Yetian ICBMs sprialled into a global nuclear conflict leading to a nuclear winter and widespread societal collapse, leaving vast sections of Yata completely ungoverned for the first time in over a century[1].

  1. ↑ This war wasn't that much of a lore event rather than an explanation for why regions of Yata would be unclaimed in a new 'claim system' where builds on the minecraft server would mean territory in-lore (which lasted from 9.1.2022 until 3.1.2023, in which the change was reverted.) This is why there are very minimal details about the war beside from the map animation.
