Ortilia began reporting that the Yetian navy had been sinking every ship that approached or left its country, freaking out Moesia and the Confederacy as it seemed that the Fifth Yetian-Tritonian War in fact had not crippled the Yetian army as it escalated its ship raids to shelling of Ortilia's coastline. Moesia pushed for an intervention against Yetia to defend Ortilia as clearly they were doing this as the eastern European states were under Yetian protection, which Bohemia saw as a moral good yet wasn't sure if it was worth the risk while Najova opted to wait for the Confederacy's opinion, prompting the Confederacy to express that attacking Yetia while it was vulnerable wasn't exactly a good look, yet it regardless agreed to officially form the 'Confederate Alliance' to prevent further aggression via a front of collective defence. Many nations signed up to join the alliance such as England, Cotunauinia-Luvuria, Denasola, Scotland, Ireland, Turkestan, Wales, Ortilia, Jeriya, Moesia, Najova, Bohemia, Aparty, Almadina, Corestias, Ellaria, and Alyphia joined, with Asophania and Cotunauinia-Luvuria even moving towards eventual integration into the Confederacy. Yetia didn't care about the threat as it declared war on Ortilia regardless, leading to the Confederate Alliance joining the war against Yetia.

Yetia started off by landing in Algiers and Fez while the Confederacy and its allies mobilized as quickly as they could, deciding to launch their offensive into Yetia once Ortillia fell to Yetian forces. Yetia spread propaganda around the world that the Confederacy had been committing warcrimes in its Niederland offensives, prompting Lineland to remark how the war was interesting, though they would clarify they didn't care about the war-crime accusations as they had done many worse things. Lineland explained it had no quarrel with the Confederacy, instead it saw Sizzle's membership in the alliance as a threat to its own sphere of influence due to the two's ongoing tensions, thus despite the Confederacy's pressure it refused to back down as it threatened to attack Sizzle, not out of exploiting vulnerability or distraction, but rather seeing their participation in the conflict as an overreach which could not go unnoticed with the previous treaty-violations between Lineland and Sizzle (with Sizzle breaking away from its treaty-obligations agreed to in the Third Great Asian War a few decades prior) and Turkestan breaking away from Lineland's sphere over to Tritonia's as enough to justify war. Turkestan explained its changed loyalties as mere pragmatism as it wished to retake New Sizzle, prompting the eccentric ultranationalist regime in New Sizzle to start yelling at Turkestan over its 'insolence', prompting Rome to realise that Yetia falling back may be a ploy to make them appear too weak to hold on alone in order to convince other states to involve themselves, which New Sizzle confirmed as true by declaring war on Turkestan despite Turkestan not wanting war. Lineland was 'encouraged' to tell New Sizzle to back off but they weren't really enthusiastic enough to get anything done by doing so, leading to New Sizzle only recruiting more allies in Sozzle which lead to even further disputes which got worse once New Sizzle recruited the Xiang Remnants, using this alliance to convince Uighurstan to aid them as they wouldn't have to deal with insurgents any longer. The Confederacy told the combatants of both sides on the eastern front to do their own war as they didn't care to defend them if they could just bring in support from Theia, but this was ignored as Lineland intervened to protect its sphere, though it did sign a cease fire with the Confederacy regardless. Yetia slowly began to push back agains tthe enbemy as it resumed its propaganda campaign by trying to inspire the Confederacy to attack Lineland, prompting Mylonagrad to freak out and explain to Lineland desperately that it wasn't their viewpoint and was instead propaganda, which Lineland didn't really care about as it had a informal 'non aggression alliance' with Yetia which didn't entail cooperation against the Confederacy for now, which regardless freaked out the Confederacy as it ramped up its anti-propaganda efforts to fight back against Yetia's rapid offensives which forced Rome to evacuate its armies to Najova to participate in an offenesive northwards near the Sava. Sarpistan and (South) Azeria noted the excessive number of Yetians travelling to their countries, confusing the Confederacy until Sarpistan and the Confederacy realised they were trying to rally support in Azeria for a campaign to conquer its northern claimed territories from the Confederacy, forcing the Confederated to urge Azeria to remain level-headed. As the Confederacy inquired about the status of the frontlines, Najova claimed it didn't need much assistance against the enemy, which Rome refuted to be false as Yetia's army had expanded by 40% since the last war, thus the Confederacy moved in significant numbers of reinforcements to deal with the newly militarized Yetian conscripts. Azeria fell into chaos as the 'Azerian Nationalist League' demanded that reunification be achieved at once, prompting the Confederacy to retreat all assets from Northern Azeria as the region was effectively handed over to Azeria to keep it pacified. With northern Yetia far too defended, the Confederate alliance opted to move thru the Po Valley instead, leading to the Veneto region being liberated. Rome noted that there were 200 thousand Yetian soldiers stationed in Tunis, prompting the Confederacy to try to organize Jeriya for an attack westwards only for Yetia to launch an attack into Jeriya first while in the far-east Lineland managed to enforce the continuation of their NAP with Sizzle after New Sizzle briefly invaded a rural region near Orenburg. Ellaria and Corestias invaded in the west to distract forces away from Jeriya as the Confederacy was unable to help due to Yetian fleets attacking all of their vessels heading thru the Bosphorus. Moesia and the Confederacy began collaborating to form a collaborator government to take over Yetia to ensure it wouldn't collapse again upon their victory, while Polsk bombed Yetia for no reason before being told to stop by Nova Polska.

Moesia managed to ascertain that the 3 best candidates to replace Yetia's government was the House of Yetevia-Anssen rulers in Isfahan and Titicaca, or the wildcard option of the exiled Yetian Communist Party in Dzaphania. Yetia managed to convince Khat to join its side with the goal of reunifying Greater Sarpistan under Pianga rule, prompting Sarpistan and Hayah to align with the Confederate Alliance to defend themselves from Khat, leading to significant naval battles in the eastern Mediterranean as Yetia blockaded the Ionian Sea. Jeriya managed to set up a good enough defence around the city of Alsaram which could be supplemented by foreign reinforcements, though the southern 80% of the country deemed a lost cause until Bornuvia and Saharia were recruited to their side to assist in defending the region. Alyphia, Eteria, Goldaria, and Makebia joined the Confederate alliance, prompting Abard to join Yetia's side. As the world devolved into more chaos than it had been in decades, the Confederacy tried its best to keep its allies united as it and the eastern european states launched an advance to liberate Rome while a sea route to Jeriya cleared of enemy vessels was formed. Sarpistan and the Confederacy planned to attack Khat from the east, however the appearance of an unidentified state in the southern levant from which nothing had gone in or out for the past year of its existence made this plan more complicated as a crossing of the strait of Aqaba appeared to be necessary. Carbon came up with a way to achieve this invasion, proposing that 'ice bridges' to funnel soldiers across the strait kept temporarily frozen for two hours with nitrogen bombs, which was regarded as just insane enough to work. Another cease-fire violation occurred in the east as New Sizzle attacked into Confederate territory again before being told off. Carbon's planes arrived at Aqaba to execute the plan, dropping bombs onto the surface water which shattered into countless fragments that froze the highest 5 meters of the sea solid, proving just thick enough for soldiers and tanks held onboard trucks to rush across the strait into the Sinai Peninsula, deploying all they could as the bridge vanished. The unknown levantine state suddenly chanted in all channels a Latin phrase ordering penalties as the entire region briefly flashed black and white, cutting off Confederate Alliance supply lines. Torium of all places spoke up and revealed that the unidentified state was referring to itself as 'The Holy Land', which its 'nurses' had visited briefly, speaking of a 'beautiful land of peace in a messianic age' once they returned, though Torium would soon devolve back into its usual incoherent babbling after these 'concerning' revalations. Aparty recognised that this suggested that The Holy Land was under the rule of the Messiah to unite the world under the one True God, but the Confederacy did its best to ignore this as there still was a war to win. Confederate Alliance forces rushed into Khat before stalling on the Nile, necessitating reorganization of the front which allowed them to capture Cairo, though Khat still stood as its capital was in the far-south of the country at Khartoum which Goldaria was to deal with. Moesia reported that it had detected significant numbers of encrypted messages being sent from Yetia to New Sizzle, leading to New Sizzle breaking the cease fire line and advancing towards Astrakhan, leading to the Confederacy freaking out as Lineland failed to talk down New Sizzle as it asserted that Lineland wanted this sooner or later. The Confederate Alliance gained more members as Azeria rallied under the cause of defending its turkic brothers, while Isfahan and Titicaca finally were organized enough to help out, while Yorica joined the war on Yetia's side which prompted the CSY and Pacific States to declare war on them in response, which made Yorica declare war on New Jersey as well for some reason, while to the south Dzaphania and Lizarb joined the Confederate Alliance as well. The Confederacy refused to acknowledge that the ceasefire with Lineland had broken despite Pro-Exodus militias fighting back against invading New Sizzle forces, eventually leading to the Confederacy there was no other way than to finally come to Turkestan's aid as the ceasefire shattered, prompting Gensokyo's involvement as it shipped in massive armies to help defend the Confederacy while local militias based in the unclaimed regions of Asia sided with either Lineland or Sizzle, with both sides forming their own mini 'united fronts' as the Confederacy shifted east. As Confederate forces rushed into Almatsk, Yetia started its 'grand offensive' which prompted Gensokyo to begin bombarding their forces from space via their spacefleet while the states of the British Isles prepared naval invasions. Yetia smashed thru Bohemia towards Vedaburg, where Palladia rushed to help set up defences. Confederate forces managed to capture Almatsk, leaving Almytara as the next target as many republics began mass mobilization and conscription, prompting Yetia to unsuccessfully bribe any republic's revolt in return for total independence and maintained borders if they were to join them, thus Yetia decided to merely capture defensive positions along the danube instead of pushing past Vedaburg. Utsong slammed elite mountaineer forces thru the unclaimed regions near Serebryany and Sichzel, which the Confederacy rushed to hold back while Lineland itself was preparing to attack Volzhskiy as its front with Sizzle had largely stalled, though in good news the Confederacy had captured Almytara. Yetia managed to achieve its defensive objectives, pushing all the way to Bralien and the Bosphorus.

6 years after the start of the war, the ongoing stalemate broke as Lineland launched a massive attack into Tritoniyagrad, forcing the Confederacy to mobilize the civilians to help defend the city while Sizzle launched a massive offensive towards Perezatski to relieve pressure. Utsong was forced to pull away froces from the Serebryany offensive to defend its homeland against the Sizzlean advances, prompting Gensokyo to come to the conclusion that maybe it could be of some assistance on the ground against Utsong due to its mountaineer corps, especially as Utsong's withdrawal left New Sizzle's front exposed enough for Turkestan to launch a major offensive, prompting the Confederacy to begin planning an attack south thru Orenburg to cut off the Tritoniyagrad front. Lineland pressured Yetia to break the stalemate on its froont as well, rushing across the Danube into Confederate territory, prompting Palladia to throw in unexposed main power lines into the river alongside bombarding all bridges to destroy crossing Yetian armies. Bornuvia, Corestias, and the Confederacy started a major offensive in North Africa in an attempt to destroy Yetian forces in the region while Sizzle reached Lhasa. Turkestan and the Confederacy launched the Orenburg plan while Azeria attacked from the south, making Lineland panic as a significant portion of its army was at risk of total encirclement, soon becoming a reality as Lineland was forced to try to cover up the catastrophic defeat in order to avoid any civil unrest. Astrakhan was encircled and liberated, soon being followed by the rest of the pocket which lead to Sizzle's offensive forces uncovering that Lineland was trying to cover up the defeat, and thus exposing the incident could lead to victory in the war, prompting Mylonagrad to reconfigure a Laser Tower in Serebryany into a radio broadcaster which flooded Lineland with the news. While Yetia was advancing into the Caucasus after establishing the 'Second National State of West Hayastan', news came in that Perezatski had fallen and Sizzle was pushing towards Linasgrad to take down the Linelandic regime, prompting the Confederacy to launch its western offensive to destabilize the Sphere's forces even further. The Confederacy and its allies rallied all forces they could into their attacks while Utsong was the first Linelandic ally to surrender. The Confederacy contacted all insurgent groups it could get its hands on to bombard all supply routes, ports, and airports in Yetia to make sure they never become a threat again, electrifying the Danube once more while Yetia was distracted in forming a National State of (east) Hayastan. Yetia's advance into the Confederacy stalled and even began to turn around as the Confederate forces pushed them back, forcing them to begin considering a new front to counter the enemy, especially as the African front completely collapsed in the Confederacy's favour.

Yetia began evacuating its African armies thru Tripoli while Sizzle launched the Okhotsk Campaign, leading to King Elmo Linasburg suddenly leaving the country thru the port at Tiksi without an explanation, confusing the Parliament until they learned that the public had learned of the massive defeat at Tritoniyagrad which lead to 3 million Linelandic soldiers captured or killed and that the enemy was now advancing onto the capital, leading to an uprising in Linasgrad as reformists rose up and besieged the National Duma Building and capturing the parliament. Having been left leaderless, the rest of Lineland fell under the rule of the Irkutsk Junta of the Linelandic Military Government, prompting largescale reformist uprisings across the country while the East Tritonian Provencial Government, Yenisei Tritonian Provencial Government, Altai Provencial Government, Evenkia Provencial Government, Shipeniya Provencial Government, Yakutia Provencial Government, and Sichilista Provencial Government declared independence from Lineland while the Reformist Provisional Government marched on Irkutsk and overthrew the Junta, whose remnants coalesced in the far-east as the 'Linelandic White Army', allowing the Provisional Government and the break-away states to convene in the 'Irkutsk Agreement' which saw all of them reunify into the 'Siberian Confederacy' under an interim government which was to hold elections to decide a new government for Lineland, while in the meantime all new member-states of the Confederation became wholly equal plurinational entities. Siberia promptly joined the Confederate Alliance in opposition to the White Army, freaking out Yetia while Siberia was busy destroying its former client states. Yetia began suffering from droughts and food shortages as its water supply was still being electrified, while the Mongolian-Tuvan Occupation Government capitulated in the east, soon being followed by Uighurstan. Azeria and the Confederacy's Caucasian members prepared an offensive into the Caucasus while Yetia's frontline kept falling back past the Danube, though the Confederacy couldn't push further due to the river being electrified so it was forced to turn south into Sarpistan. Anti-Yetian partisan uprisings sprung up throughout occupation of eastern europe, allowing the Confederacy to advance across the Bosphorus against Yetia, prompting Yetia to start scheming a 'final solution' as fighting against the entire planet once more was obviously a lost cause.

Defections riddled Yetia's ranks before Yetia suddenly demanded that 'Tritonia immediately hand over the Eastern European states and Palladia' or else it would annihalate the entire Confederacy and its people in one fell swoop, prompting the Confederacy to call Yetia's bluff while it prepared its anti-nuclear defences. Yetia thus fired a barrage of nuclear weapons against its enemies, including an accidental detonation within the territory of The Holy Land' while all other nukes vanished. The Holy Land spoke, claiming that it would no longer tolerate Yetia's actions as it was now time for Yetia to fall. In an instant, a wave of winged knights emerged from the Holy Land at rapid speeds which pacified all in their path as fire and rot rained down from the sky as Yetia was destroyed and abolished. The Holy Land's armies vanished as various new states emerged in Yetia, with Francia, Germania, Nederland, Hispania, Lusitania, Helvetia, and Ostmark being established across much of what remained of Yetia, leading to Yetia's remaining allies making peace with the Confederate Alliance.

In the Treaty of Serebryany, the Confederacy recognised all new nations and integrated the remnants of the Vedan Nationalist Guard into its territory as the Confederate Republic of Vedaburg, while the region of East Tritonia opted to remain under Siberia as in Siberia's eyes handing over all of its Tritonian territories would mean giving up 35% of its population just due to their ancestry, which the Confederacy agreed to alongside establishing an open border policy with Siberia (though it remained suspicious of their continued stability) and a rotational presidency internally. Some fighting still continued in Asia as Sizzle wiped out the Xiang remnants and Siberia continued to fight the 'Siberian Civil War' against the Linelandic White Army in the Chukchi peninsula, while Sizzle's occupied region in Perezatski became the 'Amur Government' (which fell under a Sizzlean-led military junta). The next question was what to do with the remnants of Yetia as the new states appeared to be completely ignorant to the existence of Yetia throughout all of history, prompting The Confederacy to propose a continued military presence to help prevent radicalisation, though the new states refused this request as they didn't know what Yetia was and therefore didn't accept enemy armies into their land, though they did illuded that a 'forbidden land' between Francia, Germania, and Nederland they weren't allowed to go in could be Yetia. Mylonagrad believed that the Holy Land had somehow rewritten history. Strange events suddenly happened in Gensokyo as hundreds of volcanoes erupted simultaneously while the High Priests were onboard the Genian Navy, promptly shooting off into space beyond the Solar System once their presence on the ships was questioned. Polsk found this incident worrying and moved to track down Gensokyo's lost ships. A power-struggle for who would be in charge of the new Post-Yetian states occurred shortly after the war, with Christian Progressives taking power in Francia, Paternalistic Conservatives in Germania, National Syndicalists in Nederland, National Liberals in Hispania, a Civillian Dictatorship in Lusitania, Oligarchs in Helvetia, and Clerical Fascists in Ostmark.
