The recently established nation of Eteria began militarizing its border with Goldaria, leading to a diplomatic dispute in which Eteria accused Goldaria of being a poor dictatorship which made Africans look bad. Goldaria turned to Hongerswak and claimed this comment was an insult directed towards them, leading to Hongerswak becoming angry as it and Goldaria prepared to attack Eteria in order to teach it a lesson. Eteria begged its invaders to cease the invasion, which when rejected prompted them to rapidly begin churning out capable and well-armed soldiers to fight back, first launching a massive offensive against Goldaria as it was joined by local rebels. Eteria quickly reached the Goldarian capital of Galas and second-largest city of Meteleya, quickly capturing after a brief battle which forced Goldaria into a devastating defeat inland. Eteria ceased its Gooldarian offensive and redirected forces to fight Hongerswak's invasion, which saw massive success as Eteria began pushing back with its own military, which was even more successful thanks to local revolts against Hongerswakan occupation occurring. While Hongerswak managed to briefly turn back the tide with thee use of flamethrowers, the Eterian revolts managed to cut off their on-land supply routes as only Lake Tanganyika was left as a final way to enter the nation, leading to the complete destruction of Hongerswak's army.
Hongerswak built up its defences as Eteria turned its attention north and smashed through the already weakened Goldarians, leading to ridicule from Hongerswak despite Goldaria claiming its weapons were simply much less effective, prompting Hongerswak to convince Poavak to give it blueprints for the construction of a nuclear weapon. Goldaria was soon capitulated, leading to Eteria exposing that Goldaria had close business relations to Sizzle and Sipedro which made Hongerswak furious. Seeing as Hongerswak had fortified its border, Eteria crossed over Lake Tanganyika and pushed into Hongerswak, who was unwilling to accept a surrender as it turned to unsuccessfully begging Uganda for help and building as many munitions as it could. Hongerswak made Creepyland make 'weird fanfiction' of Eteria and Uganda, leading to Uganda raiding parts of Hongerswak. After a series of defeats, North Sarpistan convinced Hongerswak to admit defeat in order to get out of the war and simply make up rumours that Eteria was harming Hongerswakans during the war.
