After a while preparing for war, Sarpistan launched a sudden invasion of Alduria in order to reclaim lost lands. Sarpistan quickly occupied the Levant before pushing onwards into Anatolia, reaching the Black Sea and instigating a Hayasian Revolt in the east of Alduria. Seeing no way to win as Sarpistan had even crushed the Hayasians, Alduria and Sarpistan signed a peace treaty which ceded back control over most of eastern Anatolia to Sarpistan.
