Itachia, which had been conquered by Sipedro during the Sipedroan-Itachian War, became unstable as local protestors launched the 'Lima Uprising' in opposition to Sipedroan rule. Cocala joined to assist Sipedro logistically against the uprising, sending an army to fight them in the region's main highway. Cocala struck into Lima while Sipedroan (specifically female) paratroopers were dropped into the rebel territories. Fearing a resurgent Itachian state, Titicaca joined the war as well and invaded the rebel territories, soon leading to the Lima Uprising's defeat. Titicaca attempted to annex border territories, but Sipedro forced them to back down.
