With Sizzle reacting with aggression, Lineland responded by launching an invasion of its own into Sizzle proper after securing a truce with Sizzlean Scotland. Lineland advanced rapidly to stop this, only for the SYE to manage to cut them off and pull off a similar devastating defeat, which they responded to by a new general offensive to seize defendable territories while SYE forces involved with the encirclement moved northwards.
