During a protest in Nuelo the Yetian police fired upon the protestors, leading to the 'July Revolution' as a popular front of protestors, anti-dictator forces, and revolutionaries formed the 'Yetian Revolutionary Union' to overthrow their government. After a brief period of violence across Yetia, the Military Junta governing the country was overthrown as the democratic-socialist 'Democratic Republic of Yetia' was established under Premier François Chalamet.
