"Dagda Blackhole Claim" Incident

Year: 327 CE

A Galactic Federation vessel in the Dagda Galaxy scouting one of the Galaxy's only four black-holes began picking up on a strange phenomenon as a disturbance in space near the gravity well of the black hole occurred resembling a spacecraft exiting FTL Travel (though of a considerably powerful scale) before an object was briefly detected in the Gravity Well before suddenly disappearing after it passed onto the other side of the black hole at a incredible speed. After a few hours the same phenomena repeated as three objects appeared from the black hole, transmitting a message to the Federation ship stating "This system has been claimed." alongside an excerpt of the Federation's charter specifying how the incorporation of unaligned uninhabited systems function as well as a form specifying the claim holder as anonymous. As the ship exits the system it briefly detected many more objects appear before entering Voidspace, after which the incident was written down in the Extragalactic Bureau's records on Firestone, where the administrative board considered action.
