After the Palladian Revolution Yetia formed an alliance with the Second Sipedroan Empire, the Kingdom of Great Sizzle, and the Palladian Empire due to their common interests as imperial regimes. Yetia promptly executed what it had been planning for a long time now, an invasion of the Caligari Pact. Palladia and Yetia rushed into Vedaburg from two fronts, freaking them out as they began calling for international assistance. Deciding to take action before this escalated out of control, Tritonia, Drenemoria, California, Asophania, and Denasola formed the 'Mylonagrad Pact' and joined the war against Yetia. Seeing this as an opportunity to kick Yetia out of its occupation zones in the levant and northeast Africa, the HASATBC soon joined the war as well. Yetia was overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies it was now facing, leading to Tritonia and Ezon becoming suspicious that something else was being prepared behind the scenes while they pushed their way towards the Vedan border in order to prevent their capitulation, which grew likelier and likelier as Vedaburg instructed its allies in Ezon to pull back to better defensible positions while Vedaburg itself held out. The Mylonagrad Pact eventually managed to achieve a successful offensive against the enemy, smashing through and pushing into eastern Yetia. Yetia revealed this was all part of their plan, as Sizzle officially entered the war, prompting Drenemoria to panic and try to withdraw from the war before it was reassured that its participation was necessary despite Tritonia and Drenemoria failing to convince Lineland to come to their aid as they were unprepared and unprovoked. Sipedro would soon join the war as well as the full might of the Newtown-Beijing-Fietrar axis was unleashed. Deciding that more allies were needed to achieve victory, Tritonia decided to try recruiting the Aundzer Alliance to their side as it told them that they could easily be next, which they agreed to do after a brief discussion (although despite now being at war, Sipedro and Cocala vowed not to fight each other and only fight each other's allies).
Apothelis would soon join the Mylonagrad Pact as well, citing its delays with a 'situation' in the Zagros Mountains, while Choros joined Yetia's side in an attempt to rebuild a hellenic empire. Seizing the initiative, the forces of the Axis began offensives on all fronts in an attempt to overwhelm their enemies, prompting Shenguo and Yanhei to join against the Axis, which only lead to Minguo joining Sizzle's side. Luvuria came to Shenguo's aid as a repeat of the Sizzlean-Shenguese War, only for Poavak to now join with Sizzle, prompting Cotunauinia to band with the Mylonagrad Pact as well. Kalevala and Svealand joined the axis in opposition to the Aundzers, while Almadina and Aparty sided with the Mylonagrad Pact. Cocala formally switched to the Axis while Titicaca followed it in opposition to Aparty's colony in south america. California recruited aid from Texas to launch an invasion of northern Sipedro, which lead to a confrontation as Sipedro rushed to fight off the invaders by encircling them at Tiujana, leading to Oklahoma coming to Texas' support. Lineland finally made its decision regarding who to support, informing Tritonia that it would be siding with Sizzle due to its opposition towards the Aundzers. Freaked out by Lineland joining Sizzle and pushing westwards, Tritonia demanded that Drenemoria agree to unify with it to prevent another era of imperialism as they were 'going to kill them all', which Drenemoria was unwilling to follow through with. California successfully occupied Baja California, though it failed to convince Sipedro to agree to peace in return for them gaining control over it. Tritonia's "freak out" grew more intense as it moved to forcefully occupy Apothelis and Drenemoria in its quest for survival, proclaiming itself to be Quatritonia and entering isolation via the Laser Tower Array's shield functions.
Tritonia's disappearance greatly concerned Luvuria, who exited the war to investigate as the barrier was some-kind of impenetrable time-manipulation field which kept everyone inside frozen in place. As it could only be destroyed with a force no one on Yata was capable of fielding and could only be deactivated from the inside, Luvuria theorised that a bubble of normal time containing the mechanism must exist somewhere,, but was definitely inaccessible as even using Teleportation technology one would at some point 'cross through' the barrier and end up trapped as no time passed within it, while people near the barrier's edge began experiencing migraines associated with a strange 'buzzing' hallucination. The international community freaked out as the buzz sound was identical to that which ringed constantly in Level 0 while storms rocked the Zagros mountains. The barrier glowed brighter as the lightning storms suddenly struck it and bounced around rapidly within the walls, coinciding with a massive electrical surge in the Zagros that was unrelated to the storms. A mechanical voice rung out the words 'Initiating primary technological transfer protocol' as energy storms reverberated around the entire planet and disrupted all electronics and causing power outages across several major nations, before escalating into a global outage as the storms ripped all electrical currents up into themselves and travelled back to Zagros, frying most electronics and communications in the process. Shenguo and Yanhei fell to Sizzle while Luvuria and Cotunauinia were left to fend for themselves in the dark, managing to convince Poavak to sign a peace treaty so they could exit the war and investigate what had just happened as they had no way of contacting Apothelis for clarification.
The 'traditional theatre' of the war continued as Equatoria joined the Mylonagrad Pact, which Goldaria considered doing as well but was forced to join the Axis due to pressure from Sizzle threatening their economy, prompting Eteria to join as well to protect Eteria. Fighting began in south america as Titicaca invaded Apartian South America and Lizarb pushed into Sipedroan Lustland all the way to the outskirts of Lust City, though despite this Aparty ended up withdrawing and handing over the territory to Titicaca due to being distracted elsewhere. Texas attempted an offensive into Sipedro, which ended in failure. Deseret all of the sudden fell into chaos as ethnically Sipedroan and Navajo regions revolted against their theocratic mormon government, drawing the region into the war as 'Nuevopedro' sought Sipedroan protection while the Navajo were crushed. While Texas failed to crush the Nuevopedroans, a similar revolt occurred in California as the 'Republic of Alta California' rose up and seized power, prompting Lakotah to join the NWO as well. Seeing the expansion of Sipedro into western ex-Yorica as a threat, the CSY joined the Mylonagrad Pact as well. Massive fighting began in north america between the Anti-Imperial east and the Sipedroan-aligned west and south. Texas tried to stop Sipedro from crossing the rio grande with turrets, but this failed as Sipedro broke thru using makeshift bridges. The next front to see action was the one between Sizzlean Abard and Wanaoishi, as Sizzle began funneling resources to push northwards, freaking Wanaoishi out as they rushed to defend, eventually stopping their advance. Abard increased the amount of firepower it was using in its attacks, prompting Wanaoishi to gather up unused weapons from the Hongerswakan days, first deploying flamethrowers against the enemy. Eteria and Goldaria suddenly launched a surprise offensive westward while Wanaoishi was distracted with Abard, convincing Hayah to join the war on the NWO side as well. Wanaoishi considered using nukes, but fell into a thought loop if using nukes to secure a quick devastating win or soldiers to fight a protracted deadly war was worse, though they eventually came to a decision and nuked New Abard. Abard was angered by this and nuked Nyumba and Brazzaville, prompting Wanaoishi to panic as yet another bomb fell on Kungani. Zina began building bunkers in Wanaoishi to prevent its complete destruction, though it was unwilling to assist in the war in any means. Abard advanced quickly out of anger over the destruction of New Abard, conquering Tswana and Zimele impulsively. Bornuvia was unwilling to help Wanaoishi due to its ties to Zina, prompting Wanaoishi to follow Khat's advice of retreating into the Congo Rainforest as a better defensible region, though it did try to hold them off with the forces which didn't retreat. Abard slipped through the nuclear wasteland at Nyumba to outflank the enemy, encircling a large Wanaoishian army, prompting them to fully flee into the jungle. Seeing no way to win and being promised peace and autonomy as a puppet-state, Wanaoishi reluctantly surrendered to Sizzle. Nilastan tried to convince Luxuria to come to their aid, but Luxuria refused as it saw a NWO victory as fairly inevitable. Abard would later invade and occupy Equatoria, leading to its capitulation.
Luvuria and Cotunauinia finally rejoined the war and engaged Poavak in combat by invading Sulawesi, leading to largescale fighting across all nearby islands. Poavak tried to largely contain the offensive rather than completely destroy it, though they eventually resorted to offensive manouvres in Sulawesi and attacked Halmahera around the same time that they set up a blockade to prevent Cotunauinia from attacking further Poavakian islands. Poavak began pulling back to southern Sulawesi to set up a defence, but was caught off guard by a naval invasion which limited them to solely the southeast peninsula, which soon fell as well as Luvuria and Cotunauinia covered themselves with a temporally nullifying forcefield, prompting Poavak to sue for peace as it handed over Sulawesi and the South Maluku Islands. Yetia finally restarted its european offensive around the same time that Luvakhia and Kalevala clashed. ILCADOS suddenly spoke about how it could not detect Tritonia's presence as it had completed its objectives and entered low-power mode. The Caligari Pact -backed 'Fourth Republic of Palladia' commented on how it was completely incapable of contacting Tritonia, especially as a communication from Luvuria told them of the events of the eastern front. Sizzle decided to investigate what was happening in Tritonia, sending an expedition which found Volzhskiy abandoned and covered in ash, prompting them to explore the rest of the country which was found to be entirely abandoned. The Mylonagrad Pact and its allies freaked out as all of Tritonia fell under Sizzlean occupation, allowing them to establish Sizzlean-aligned puppet regimes in the form of the Fourth Apothilene Democracy, Fourth Republic of Drenemoria, Republic of Uralia, and Second Republic of Rusia. As Sizzle now had direct access to the continent of Europe, Palladia evacuated much of its population to Mcanaland as the NWO pushed in from both sides, soon being joined by Aparty and Almadina as the Republic of Prospero seceded.
The New World Order and Aundzer Alliance negotiated an armistice at this point, agreeing upon the following terms;
- The region from the Suez to Cisjordan was annexed by Hayah.
- Tigreland was annexed by Goldaria.
- The Republic of Jeriya was formed as a Yetian puppet.
- Alduria and Cyprus were annexed by Choros
- Sarpistan paid reparations to the NWO.
- Wanaoishi was officially recognized as a Sizzlean puppet.
- Equatoria became a Sizzlean puppet.
- Shenguo and Yanhei were annexed into Sizzle.
- Luvakhia became a puppet of Sizzle in return for unifying with Rusia.
- Kalevala gained border territories from Luvakhia.
- Yamalia paid reparations to the NWO.
- Nilastan paid reparations to the NWO.
- Almadina and Aparty became puppets of Hayah.
- All territories of the Socialist States of Yorica were annexed by Lakotah.
- Acre paid reparations to the NWO.
- Lizarb paid reparations to the NWO.
- Vedaburg, North Italy, Ezon, the Palladian Empire, and Mephisinia were annexed by Yetia.
- Oklahoma and parts of western CSY were annexed by Lakotah.
- Tanume became a puppet of Kalevala
Fighting largely stopped at this point other than a Yetian 'restabilization' operation into Choros which lead to the country being annexed into Yetia. Fearing that another war would regardless start in the near future, Islandia organized the formation of a new 'Anti-New World Order Coalition' as the last bastion of freedom in the world.
