Year: 209 CE

The people of the Paraleis Confederal Capital District grew tired of not having representation in the government of Paraleis despite being the capital of the entire nation, prompting them to rally under communist ideology as they rose up against their government. The CCD was quickly overthrown as many senators were killed, prompting many more traditionally-minded Paralesian city states to rally under the 'Tarnian League' lead by the Kingdom of Moria and Kingdom of Trosia, while several republican-leaning statelets refused to align with them and remained neutral. While they managed to initially push into Paraleis City quite effectively, the Paraleis Proletarian State managed to defeat the Tarnian League and push them out, leading to the neutral states to form the Atopolean League lead by the Republic of Atensia opposed to both sides, with the Proletarians being a clear threat and the Tarnians being long-time rivals. Largescale fighting began throughout all of Paraleis which greatly destabilized the entirety of Paraleis, causing many outlying smaller city-states to fall into anarchy due to bandit raids. Eventually, the Proletarian advances convinced the Tarnians and Atopoleans to form a truce to push them back. This saw initial success until a stalemate set in once more, leading to the 3 factions agreeing to an armistice that split Paraleis between each other.
