'Yetianist' expats from Francia and Hyperborea began moving to Helvetia in large numbers, where they formed the 'Yetian Retribution Front' and launched a revolution against the government, leading to the proclamation of the 'True Yetian Empire'. As could be expected, the TYE's ardently anti-Yetian neighbours weren't happy with its coup, leading to a Francian, Germanic, and Bohemian declaration of war to restore the Helvetian government. Despite some initial victories by the coalition, the TYE managed to shockingly repel any attacks and even expand into neighbouring territories, forcing the Political Union of Europa to sign an armistice as the TYE exclaimed that it would 'prepare for the coming storm' and encouraged the people of Antarctica to 'remember where they came from'.
