Completion of the Solaris Forge

The 'Solaris Forge' was completed on Hephaestus Station, becoming the largest foundry/forge/refinery complex to ever be created by Humanity, making use of a ginormous array of solar-reflectors to redirect light focused on different points in order to assist in the functionality of smelting/purification chambers as well as providing electrical power. Thanks to this advancement, Aeternus Materials soared into becoming the cheapest provider of refined materials within the entire Alpha Sol System thanks to how quickly it was able to produce them, quickly surpassing the massive investments required with the sheer profits it could produce by flooding the market with alloys, minerals, and metals. Most other minerals mined by Aeternus began being redirected from smaller facilities and stations towards the Solaris Forge due to its efficiency, leading to many other facilities shutting down as Hephaestus' industry docks were filled to the brim. The ALM (With CSIS backing) and the Moebius Foundation began working on their own forge of similar calibre known as the 'Dylarian Space Station' built as an extension of the pre-existing 'Cerros Station', which was a massive CSIS shipyard. The goal behind the Dylarian was to avoid business with Aeternus due to its rather suspicious and monopolistic behaviours.

In the coming months, the Solaris Forge was opened for usage by other companies in return for a small fee thanks to the materials it needed to run itself being found to be much smaller than expected, which prompted the CSIS to finally agree to use it.
