After a long time of simmering resentment and desire for revenge over the inconclusive end of the Great African War, Sarpistan, Hongerswak, and their allies declared war on the bloc of African republics under the suzerainty of Yetia. Sarpistan favoured a tactic of instigating a Pan-African revolution against Yetia, which Humambo seemed to also favour alongside a offensive into Europe afterwards. The plan to instigate a revolution already saw success as revolutionaries in Yetian Equatorial Africa rose up and declared the Republic of Equatoria, allowing Hongerswak to focus on Bornuvia. Malagasia invaded quite deep into Eteria before reinforcements arrived to stop them. While Yetia was getting pushed back, they certainly weren't losing as Sarpistan's capital of Baghdad fell and Yetian/Malagasian marines launched an invasion of Humambo. Once Jeriya surrendered (allowing a Pro-Sarpistan government to be installed) Sarpistan began sending help to the invasion of Bornuvia. Yetia repaired its nuclear launchsites and decided to have revenge for the bombardment it endured during the (first) Great African War, obliterating Nyumba, Cairo, Dodoma, Harare, and Galas, prompting the HASATBC to begin preparing its own nukes.
The 'Revolution Plan' saw its first major success as Libatria was fed up of fighting its fellow Africans and switched sides, though this did not entirely win the far for the HASATBC as a majority of Humambo's military capitulated to Yetia in a massive mutiny, forcing Hongerswak to divert forces to help liberate them. Bornuvia was largely occucpied by the HASATBC at this point, prompting them to ask to surrender which Yetia told them they weren't allowed to do, which lead to them switching sides. Saharia and Malakia soon followed a similar course of action, switching over to the HASATBC. Yetia attempteed to maintain order in its final mainland african dependency of Yetian Ortilia, which soon failed as the obvious defeat that was incoming lead to the region revolting. Before they could fight off the Yetian invasion into Sarpistan, the HASATBC decided to launch a naval invasion of Malagasia to eliminate it as a threat, which succeeded.
The full force of Africa was unleashed onto Yetia, who was overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemy forces and pushed out of Africa. Yetia continued refusing to surrender, prompting Hongerswak to nuke Ezon, which allowed them to launch a invasion of Jeddah. Yetia eventually managed to stop the enemy advance by the Fertile Crescent, necessitating another nuclear bombing of Yetia (in Niederbach) to break them. Once the HASATBC pushed to the Bosphorus they were faced by another defensive network they couldnt pass, prompting them to launch an invasion of Iberia. Yetia's defences quickly collapsed as enemy forces invaded from all angles, prompting Yetia to unleash one final attack against the enemy by using the Yetian Laser Tower, devastating all it struck until HASATBC soldiers seized the tower and shut it down, leading to Yetia's capitulation. After the war concluded, a friendly government was established in Malagasia, all nations that broke off from Yetia during the war were recognized, an African Union was established, and Yetia was forced to pay extreme reparations.
