With Saharia having been in peace and safety for decades now, the Tuaregs of the nation's north no longer saw their governor as a necessary organization for their own protection, leading to a largescale revolt in the north of Saharia near the city of Agadez. While many of these local uprisings were crushed by the government, many still survived and managed to spread out into the countryside to cause major instability in the Agadez area, allowing the Tuaregs of [[wikipedia:Kel_Ahaggar|Kel Ahaggar]] to declare independence as the 'Talahaq Republic' (under a Islamic Democracy). With Saharian forces advancing northwards, the Agadez revolt launched a sudden offensive onto Saharia's capital of Alshqati, which concluded in a victory which greatly destabilized Saharia's military and government to the point of most of their offensive forces surrendering, allowing the Agadez revolt to officially declare independence as the 'Confederation of Agadez' (under Anarcho-Capitalism). Angered by their government's failures, a coup occurred against the remnants of Saharia by a group of Hausa-nationalist islamist-socialists whom proclaimed the 'People's Islamic Republic of Hausaland', though many loyalists still stayed loyal to Saharia which forced the Tuaregs and Hausa to cooperate and recognize each other's regimes as stranded Hausaland forces moved thru Tuareg land to crush the remaining loyalists. With Saharia having been in peace and safety for decades now, the Tuaregs of the nation's north no longer saw their governor as a necessary organization for their own protection, leading to a largescale revolt in the north of Saharia near the city of Agadez. While many of these local uprisings were crushed by the government, many still survived and managed to spread out into the countryside to cause major instability in the Agadez area, allowing the Tuaregs of Kel Ahaggar to declare independence as the 'Talahaq Republic' (under a Islamic Democracy). Hausaland's militias rushed to destroy the remaining loyalists, forcing the remaining Saharian forces trapped in Agadezi territory to flee into exile within the friendly Bornuvia. With the loyalists destroyed, the Treaty of Alshqati was signed between Agadez, Talahaq, and Hausaland which officially established and recognized each of their independence.
