A Sizzlean bakery made a new dessert sprinkled with bat skin that became incredibly popular, selling out everywhere. Eventually a mistake happened, as one of the bat skin batches was tainted with pig poo and the guy that baked it didn't wash his hands, even before shaking hands with a famous person who ended up eating the tainted dessert. This famous guy began to cough and sneeze as the tainting spread, as this famous guy was the first case of Coronavirus. A second case was soon reported in Sizzle, while 3 suspected cases came out negative in Scotland, only for 5 more to be reported in Sizzle alongside the first death. Two reports happened in Sipedroan New Sizzle, with one of these people having gone to Sipedro proper, leading to 5 cases there as well. One of these Sipedroan cases then went to Lustland, where 20 additional cases were reported. Infections in Sizzle jumped to 26 leading to 2 deaths, while in Lustland 2 of the infected also died as the disease rapidly spread there to the point of growing to 30 cases. Yetia began to be infected by Sizzleans while Sizzle itself jumped by 30 then 50 more cases. The spread of the disease even disrupted Sizzlean King Patrky's wedding with Katie Johnroo, forcing it to be a private matter which had to be rescheduled. The disease soon spread to Vanino, Lineland and more of Sipedro, prompting the Sizzlean Government to recommend against eating the bat flake desserts. Cases in Lineland jumped to 12 while 2 cases were reported in Utsong alongside 1 in England.

100 new cases occurred in Sizzle which led to 10 deaths, soon being followed by 30 more in Lustland and 1 death there as well. Wales soon reported its first 2 cases and Italy reported its first case around the same time that Yetia reported 2 more. Abard reported 6 new cases while England had 3 more suspected cases. With Sipedro reporting 20 more, Hongerswak decided to close its borders and many countries in europe such as Scotland, England and Wales banned flights to Sizzle. Lustland began considering quarantine measures, but their efforts were very impractical. Deaths were reported to be more common among the elderly and babies. Yorica reported its first 15 cases, leading to Petoria closing its borders and Sipedro beginning quarantine efforts.

The number of infected in Sizzle quickly jumped to 500 while in Lustland it reached 100, soon being followed by Lineland reporting 60, Taiwan reporting 15, and various other countries such as Utsong, England, Waclaw, and Choros reporting increases. Quatritonia, Morduria, Aparty, and Scandimar closed their borders while 300+ more cases and 20 more deaths were reported. Scotland reported 1 more case whom was quarantined, soon being followed by 1000 more in Sizzle alongside 200 deaths. Lineland reported 200 more, Utsong reported 80, Yetia-Xindao reported 60, and England reported 20. As cases continued to spread, Italy closed its borders and Sipedro intensified its quarantine efforts. 60 more cases and 20 deaths occurred in Sizzle, though one did recover. Cases jumped in Scotland by 10, in England by30, and in wales by 20. The lockdowns effectively turned Beijing into a ghost town as barely any one left their homes and major events such as the Eurasian Cup '94 was cancelled and the first major celebrity, Dog Naps, was infected. Cases in Sizzle jumped by 300, making the country now have 1350 cases in total alongside 60 deaths, leading to all schools being closed. All of the successor states of Quatritonia alongside Morduria and Aparty began trying to prevent any cases from popping up.

Cases in Sizzle jumped by another 800 while deaths jumped to 200, now having nearly 2000 total cases. Cases in Yetia jumped to 100 (due to Yetia-Xindao's negligence before being overthrown) while Lustland also reached 1000. Riots calling for increased autonomy for the Isle of Mann and Ulster broke out in Ireland, acting as breeding grounds for the virus. Sizzle's number of cases soon jumped to 3000. Lineland jumped to 800, Utsong jumped to 700, Lustland jumped to 2000, and Taiwan jumped to 300. Sizzle's jumped by another 1500 alongside 500 deaths, Scotland's jumped by 30, Sipedro jumped by 700 and 70 deaths which concerned them to the point of closing their borders, and Italy got 2 more. In an attempt to solve its issues Sizzle built a massive hospital. Scotland reported its first death, though it was a 70 year old woman.

Cases in Scotland jumped to 100 (leading to them finally closing their borders) around the same time that increased tourism caused cases in Yetia to jump by 10, in Italy by 3, and in England by an unknown amount. Sipedro jumped up by 600 cases and 70 deaths. Lustland began to encourage against constant sex in the country to avoid further infections, while Sipedro decided to begin trying to make a vaccine. Cases in Sizzle began to rise drastically as they quickly reached 36 thousand, soon also announcing that there had been 2000 deaths, quickly increasing to 64 thousand as many Hospitals were overwhelmed and shut down. The disease began to circulate quickly among the nations of the British isles and Abard, though all cases in Abard soon vanished. Yorica and Irish Iceland soon also began to report cases. Kalevala gained 50 cases while Yetia jumped by 600. Wales jumped by 50 and Lustland jumped all the way up to 20 thousand as virtually all countries reported at least a couple cases.

Across the world the number of infected grew rapidly as cases began to nearly triple everywhere, with Sipedro grew by 500 around the same time that Sizzle reported 10 thousand deaths and 100 recoveries, leading to Sipedro finally deciding to crack down upon its partying in the streets as it encouraged its people to stay home, leading to massive panic buying as people realised the situation they were in. Poavak began instituting largescale purges of infected individuals by locking them in prisons. Scotland and Sipedro closed their borders and schools as 200 new cases were repoted globally, soon being followed by increasing numbers in uninfected countries. Petoria, Hongerswak, and Poland all were relatively unaffected by now. Yamalia reported its first 10 as well. The Civil War in Italy caused a large jump in cases as 100 more infected and 10 deaths. Hongerswak took similar courses of action as to what Poavak was doing. Sizzle announce it had no new cases, while Sipedro claimed its growth was slowing down.

As cases in Poavak began to increase rapidly in 96 CE, they asked for a cure from their ally Luxuria who allegedly had one, which they only were willing to supply if Poavak joined the empire. Poavak claimed it would accept if it was given autonomy, which the NLE agreed to in return for full control over Poavak's healthcare and law enforcement agencies. Cases in Poavak quickly began jumping by hundreds as its 'sick prisons' were breached, allowing the infected to escape and spread the disease, prompting Poavak to accept the offer in a panic. The NLE promptly got to work, and quickly cured all infected and vaccinated all uninfected within New Luxurian Poavak. The continued expansion of the NLE worried Sipedro, agreeing with Lineland to keep a closer eye on them.

As the number of infections began to slow down, King Patrky and Katie Johnroo were finally able to hold their wedding, though they regardless held it behind closed doors. During their at-home honeymoon after the wedding Katie became pregnant with their son Tony. Dognaps was one of the few recovery cases in Sizzle, though his recovery cost Sizzle a lot of many which caused many of their hospitals and businesses to go bankrupt. The NLE offered that if Sizzle was to join their empire they would fix their infections, which Sizzle said theyw ould accept if they were paid enough money to fix their economy, freaking out Sipedro and Lineland as they handed over tons of money to Sizzle to prevent it from accepting. As the NLE had the largest economy on Yata at the time, they offered to pay 700 trillion more than the other two had, which Sizzle accepted as the money was sent over, only to suddenly refuse to become a part of the empire as they scammed the NLE. Sizzle used these new funds to set up homeless shelters and increase people's salaries, except for the part set aside for their vaccine effort which was estimated to take about a year to complete. Casees in Sizzle decreased rapidly as no new cases were reported for 2 days, though the rest of the world continued to endure the virus. Yetia and Sizzle began to collaborate on a cure as the NLE refused to share theirs. The other countries of the world found this interraction suspicious as Vaccines don't cure those that are already infected.
