With the Eighth England War concluding in yet another victory for the Sizzlean-Yetian Empire, the nation of Éire made one last desparate plea to the Anti Sizzle-Yetia Coalition to make a stand before the SYE could grow too strong, a plea which Sipedro and its allies accepted, with Sipedro, Utsong in Exile, Islandia, Poavak, Yorica, Taiwan in Exile, SR Lineland, and Choros all declaring war on the Sizzlean-Yetian Empire. The SYE was caught off guard, yet ready to fight back as they mobilized support in the recently acquired Abardean territories by granting them significant autonomy and tightened their grip over the rebellious British Isles, successfully signing a non-aggression pact with the neutral state of Luxuria.
Aiming to first deal with its smaller enemies, the SYE started its campaign by launching an invasion of Linelandic Bergen and attempting to secure its inter-Eurasian trade routes thru unclaimed land, which was unsuccessful as Kalevala refused access and blocked all SYE trade thru its territory. Choros was the first of the Coalition to make a move, launching an invasion into south-east Yetia that was swiftly countered by a devastating SYE counteroffensive that broke into Chorosian territory, with the populace in the occupied regions rounded up and imprisoned as cities burned. Sipedro quickly moved to support Choros, though Choros instead told them to focus on taking out the SYE instead of defending them. Sipedro made its move by launching an invasion into Beijing that coincided with a Linelandic offensive into Sizzle Russia, which the SYE attempted to defend against, which was only successfully done in the Beijing front. Hoping to draw attention away from its mainland, the SYE began a series of invasions into Islandia to attempt to sever Sipedro's supply routes thru the pacific, forcing Islandia to relocate to the Galapagos. As the SYE launched an invasion into Sipedro proper a largescale uprising began in the Utsong Protectorate, with the so called 'Free Utsong Movement' seizing control over several territories in the region. The SYE decided to continue this invasion despite the disruption caused by the expanding Utsongan uprising, attempting to use psychological warfare in an attack into Fietrar. Sipedro continued to advance in the Beijing front, linking up with Lineland to advance quickly into the region as the SYE attempted to hold them off by using chemical weapons and spiked armour, which eventually allowed them to launch a counteroffensive that led to the city being resecured. Tired of Kalevala blocking their trade-routes, the SYE declared war on them and later on launched an invasion into Kalevala to secure these routes after their next major defeat.
Hoping to rectify their lack of momentum, Yorica greatly expanded its territories and mobilized itself to go on the offensive into the British Isles alongside Sipedro, hoping to secure the region as a base of operations for a future invasion of Yetia. This invasion was incredibly successful, with Ireland quickly falling and a invasion into England thru Liverpool all ending in major victories for the Coalition. With the SYE distracted with its invasion of Kalevala, the Coalition launched an invasion into the Yetian mainland thru Waclaw City, which the SYE managed push back into the sea alongside a counter-invasion into Coalition-occupied Scotland and rural Kalevala. The SYE largely managed to regain the upper hand thanks to their offensives, though they were regardless in certain regions put on the retreat by Choros and Free Utsong launching their own offensives, during which the governments of the Free Utsong Movement and Utsong in Exile were overthrown by a military leader calling himself 'Gushihan Khan', declaring himself the ruler of the Utsongan Khanate. With Utsong's new government being far more imperialistic than its previous one, Utsong and the SYE managed to agree on a peace treaty that saw the former's withdrawal from the conflict in return for independence.
The situation for the SYE began to gradually look more and more desperate as internal resistance expanded, with the regime desperately fighting back against internal sabotage and external threats. Lineland was the next to begin pursuing major offensive operations by invading Sizzle Island, soon being joined by the previously neutral Nilastan in return for control over the territory as the SYE desperately tried to hold off in the highly undersupplied territory with the use of minefields and bombing runs. The battle in this region was particularly brutal as the cold and muddy terrain slowed both armies as bombs rained down from above, eventually allowing the Coalition to secure control over the island. Hoping to not lose more valuable ports, the SYE launched a new offensive in the British front by pushing south from their holdings in Scotland against the Yorican defensive lines, eventually forcing Yorica to withdraw from the British Isles as it put its focus elsewhere. Making use of their new naval base in occupied Sizzle Island, Lineland launched an invasion of nearby Abard, initially facing major victories until the Abardean forces managed to slow down their advance. Hoping to stop the Linelandic advance, the SYE deployed their first division modified with the 'Brain Block' implants, arriving in New Abard once Lineland began advancing deep into the region, with Lineland initially offering Abard assurances of continued sovereignty if it surrendered, only to be suddenly ambushed once they halted their advance to allow Abard to decide its fate. Lineland continued to advance against coming SYE reinforcements after faking a retreat and encircling the enemy, soon securing the rest of Abard.
Hoping to finally achieve their decisive victory, the SYE launched a surprise offensive against Lineland in their mainland, pushing them out of SYE territory back to their borders. The Kalevala front soon also began to see activity as the SYE advanced into Karelia, giving them the necessary breathing room to launch a rapid offensive into Lineland in order to hopefully seize their capital of Yakutsk. This offensive began as a massive success for the SYE, punching Lineland all the way back to the Lena river where Lineland finally stopped their advance. Despite many other Linelandic territories such as Magadan and Sakhalin falling to SYE forces, they managed to regardless beat back the enemy advance at the Battle of Yakutsk
