Angered by Humambo's colonial system where all under the dominion of the oppressive Humambo government as extraction zones, the Colony of North Cape, Colony of Caprivi, Colony of Barotseland, Colony of Lesotho, Colony of Zulu, and Colony of Eswatini all launched a revolt against the regime. While the revolt initially was very successful, the government of Humambo instituted a massive crackdown on dissenters which pushed back the revolts until an additional uprising occurred in the Colony of Orange, leading to Humambo's efforts crumbling. Humambo began begging for aid from its allies in the HASATBC, which lead nowhere as Hongerswak blamed Humambo for letting those who hated their regime stay alive.
With their situation in shambles, the Loyalist forces split in two as the 'State of Great Humambo' broke away from the recognized government, which reformed into the 'Empire of Humambo-Zimbabwe'. After crushing the EHZ, the State of Great Humambo swiftly pushed forwards and defeated all resistance in its path, eventually leading to the Colonial Insurrections to either capitulate or flee into Abard, who was accepting refugees now that it had learned kindness.
