In the first ever elections in the Republic of Niederbach, the Demokratische Partei managed to win with 55%, leaving the Groß-Niederbach Partei with only 45% of the vote. The GNP called the results rigged and illegitimate, prompting them to launch a revolution against the government as their supporters rose up throughout the northeast of the country. Niederbach tried to convince them to stop as they were all Yetians, prompting the GNP to explain that they were Germans not Yetians. It was not long until the entirety of Niederbach fell to the revolutionaries, leading to the 'State of Niedereich' being proclaimed.
