After a year of existing, Rossiya held its first elections contested between the generally right-leaning 'All-Rossiyan Congress', the generally left-leaning 'New Communist Party Government', and the generally separatist 'Coalition of Independent Peoples', with each of these coalitions being composed of numerous local parties. While the individual party which gained the most votes was the Minority Freedom Party, due to votes being transferred onto second-favourite candidates the New Communist Party managed to win (Despite only having 30% of the vote) and form a minority government.
