Polsk had fallen into anarchy due to the Fourth Swagonian War, forcing Bangustan and Karlsfell to occupy it to try to restore order, soon managing to have the Polska Federation (Polsk's outer coolonies) to send an army to restore order and appoint a new leader, leading to Polsk being successfully restabilized under a ultramilitaristic regime which began preparing for yet another war via rampant militarization and weapons production, greatly concerning the Theian Republic as its airspace was repeatedly violated by Polsk's ships. Due to agitation among Polskan POWs in Swagonia, Swagonia began massacring POWs which inspired its allies to start doing the same, leading to a massive prison-break as both Swagonia and Polsk positioned their spacecrafts above one another during the massive diplomatic crisis. Both Polskan and UFR POWs managed to break out and evacuate in large numbers, leading to Polsk and UFR's strained relations recovering slightly despite 'Ard Algharb unsuccessfully trying to get the UFR into the Swagolition. Despite these improvements, the two's relations were still strained enough as to not form an actual alliance between one another as the UFR sought neutrality as to avoid immense political backlash from the opposition and other government factions, seeing Polsk's plans to reclaim the UFR's original territories from before the Swagonian-UFR War as pointless.
