King Langa Makeba of Abard fell into bad health, making Abard unstable enough for a radical ethnonationalist group calling itself the 'Na Gaidheil Abard' seized the opportunity to rise up in rebellion against the ruling House of Makeba, seizing several coastal areas which they used to seize the major military base of Camp-Dalt before moving to capture as much of Abard's infrastructure network as they could. With most major roads captured, the NGA launched a attack on the capital of New Abard, swiftly capturing the West Pit before moving onto the Royal Palace, leading to the capture of Langa Makeba and the surrender of several royals. Seeking to continue the fight, remaining royals crowned Prince Olwethu Makeba as the new king, who promptly rallied the Abardean armies in former Humambo to first fortify and then fight back while the NGA was focusing on clearing out remaining western pockets of resistance. Once remaining Langa suppoprters rallied around Olwethu, a largescale offensive towards New Abard was launched with aims to reclaim the city, though unluckily the NGE managed to ambush them and force them back to East Tswana. With the Abardean military retreating, the NGA deployed tanks seized from Camp-Dalt onto a major offensive into southern Humambo, leading to Olwethu's morale breaking as he realised he could not win the warm, prompting him to gather his loyalists and flee into unclaimed land. Now leaderless, remaining Royalist forces attempted a last stand against the NGA to no avail, forcing them to flee into Wanaoishi.
The Na Gaidheil Abard managed to successfully secure their hold over the Third Abardean Empire, removing the House of Makeba from power and instating Uailean Dalais from the House of Dalais as their new puppet monarch while their leader Iain Singleir was appointed Prime-Minister, giving him a majority of the actual control. Olwethu on the other hand, established the small nation of 'Makebia' on Goldaria's borders as he planned for his return.
