Luxuria took notice that an unusual amount of deaths occurring among people that hung around birds for too long, with the news of this soon spreading across the world as similar deaths were reported worldwide. Sipedro noticed such an occurrence happen in a pet store, prompting Luxuria and scientists to theorise that birds are the culprit, prompting Yetia to theorise that the birds had some kind of disease. Red Army claimed to be working on a cure while countries began enacting quarantines as protected squads rounded up birds to avoid spreading the disease. Poavak found out that the ULSR was planning on betraying the Aundzer Alliance in order to spread its own influence, prompting Nakmai to suggest sending thousands of birds into Lineland in order to wipe out any army before it forms, which Poavak seemed to agree was a good idea. Nakmai went through with the plan as shielded people captured thousands of birds and dropped them onto Lineland, causing tens of thousands of casualties. The ULSR withdrew from the Aundzer Alliance over this incident, leading to a major diplomatic spat. Linelandic warships began frequenting Poavak's territorial waters after this. Poavak theorised that maybe places with more birds would be better off as they would be more used to them, but Luxuria proved this to be a false assumption as it kept trying to convince people to quarantine themselves. Red Army estimated that the cure would still take months, which grew concerning as 11 million people had already died as even exiting hazmat suits could cause deaths from the disease. The death rate quickly jumped to 20 million as the Red Army completed a prototype cure, prompting them to test it in Luxuria to test it out.
After a long period of testing, the Red Army developed a gaseous cure to wipe out the disease within birds, which once spread by various aircrafts lead to the deaths concluding. As an unintended consequence of this, all bird species unexpectedly gained sapience and the ability to speak, prompting them to begin complaining about how most Humans (apart from Sizzle) had been treating them. Humans tried to recollect on how nice they had been to birds, but all the buildings and roads blocking their former homes alongside all the carnage humans had inflicted to one another made the Birds decide that Humanity was unforgivable, so they declared war on Humanity. Birds only went to peaceful or non-human places such as Argentina, Nuan Krovh, and the Bejrik Order. In order to prevent the Red Army from making birds dumb again, it was conquered by them.
Over a decade later, Red Army suddenly described how all of the Birds decided they couldn't be bothered to invade Humanity so they all left to live on Corecent instead.
