Taiwan and Yakamoto had managed to bring east asia to a state of relative peace after defeating Sizzle for several years at this point, though as the Sizzleans were effectively under the occupation of foreign soldiers and a foreign government seemingly dedicated to overworking them, the status quo could not last forever. Tired of their increasingly bad economic status, many Sizzleans and Utsongans decided to take action and revolt against their rulers, prompting the United Revolutionary Alliance of Sizzle and Spiritual Realm of Utsong to declare war on Taiwan.

The URAS and Utsong rose up against Taiwan, allowing the garrisons in more fringe regions to break away from the Provisional Government of Sizzle and form their own cliques, starting with the Yushu Clique and Second Uighurstan Clique as the Taiwanese Western Command was stranded, allowing the Kashmir Clique and Tajikistan Clique to rise up as well. Once Yakamoto came to Taiwan's aid, the URAS rushed into Meninguo in an attempt to overwhelm its enemy, forcing Taiwan and Yakamoto to withdraw their forces as they prepared for a full-scale counter-attack. Once all enemy forces withdrew, the URAS proclaimed the 'Beijing Government' while the Gansu Clique subsumed the Yushu Clique. In the north, the Perzat-Tritoniya Clique rebelled from Kitayato, which Yakamoto and Kitayato itself quickly crushed, during which PTC forces fled across the border into the UQLSR, prompting Kitayato to chase them down across the border. Seeing this as a casus belli, the UQLSR intervened on the side of the Sizzleans, invading into Kitayato. Yakamoto quickly rushed to mobilize its army, eventually managing to stop the UQLSR's advance as it secured peace with the Uighurstan Clique in return for handing over minor border territories. Yakamoto proposed that while they could defeat the weaker Sizzleans first and then attack into the UQLSR, this would be unwise so they should try to get the UQLSR out of the war first via negotiation. The UQLSR demanded the northern 2/3 of Kitayato in return for peace, which Yakamoto refused as it finally put its foot down and refused to lose land once more as the entire Yakamotian army was deployed to fight off their enemies. With Yakamoto's attention directed towards the north, most Sizzlean warlords and rebellions formed an alliance known as the 'Sizzlean United Front' so that they may fight together rather than against each other.

Meanwhile in Europe, Hans Meyer completed the 'Yetian Reconstruction Plan' which saw the worst of the famine and economic collapse in the Greater Yetian Empire being repaired at the cost of the restriction of certain liberties, which remained fairly popular as the Yetians preferred their restrictions over the previous chaos. With the internal situation fixed, Hans Meyer moved onto his external policy and denounced the treaty ending World War 18 as invalid, proclaiming that Yetia would no longer pay its debt. Vedaburg reacted angrily and stated that Yetia wasn't allowed to do this, which Yetia refuted as it was 'their country' not 'some glorified city state's', escalating their provocations from merely no longer paying reparations to sending an ultimatum demanding that the Adriatic Alliance withdraw its forces from Niederland at once or they would invade. Najova and Palladia backed down and withdrew, while Vedaburg and Italy remained, prompting Yetia to invade, quickly kicking out Italy and Vedaburg from its territory. Italy commented on how annoying Yetia was being, prompting Yetia to accuse the Adriatic Alliance of occupying its country, leaving the people starving as they robbed the country of its wealth while no law or order stood. Italy accused Yetia of playing the victim as it had done similar things in the past to even more extreme degrees, explaining that Yetia needed to learn its lesson even if the civilian deaths were unfortunate. Yetia began reminding Italy of every bad thing that had ever happened to Yetia, speaking of the fires caused by Sipedro, the destruction of the Luxurian UFO, being nuked to the ground, being invaded by Yomtachs multiple times, the genocides by numerous powers such as Sizzle, the deaths caused by The Plague, and much more as Yetia explained that oppressive rulers in a past did not mean that Yetia had never suffered. Vedaburg and Italy decided that Yetia's threats weren't anything to be afraid of, deciding that launching a pre-emptive strike was necessary to avoid Yetia from rebuilding to become too powerful. Yetia didn't stand idle to its enemies organizing against them, offering a alliance to partition Eurasia with Yakamoto due to their similar ambitions and shared enemies, which Yakamoto accepted despite some worries of betrayal, all joining under Catania's 'Front for National Revolutionary Action' alongside the former Adriatic member Poland.

The FNRA launched a offensive into the Adriatic Alliance in europe, being joined by the communistic Ezon despite conflicting ideologies due to their shared enemies. Waclaw was the first to be occupied by Yetia, soon being followed by Hispania. Ortilia and Sarpistan rushed to support the Adriatic Alliance to prevent the rise of yet another Yetian empire, while Alinya aligned with the FNRA to reclaim territories it lost to Sarpistan and Choros. As the world was at war once more, the government of England fell to a totalitarian group calling itself INGSOC, allowing the 'State of Oceania' too arise as a member of the FNRA, striking out against Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. With Poland pushing deep into its territory, Palladia collapsed as the 'Palladian Black Army' seized much of the east of the country while the rest was occupied. Vedaburg was the next to fall, with Najova commenting on Vedaburg's failures as the two were occupied. With the west being dealt with by Yetia, Yakamoto and Taiwan launched their counteroffensive into Sizzle, battling them in Beijing and Xining as they spread out into the country, soon leading to more warlords aligning with the United Front as they pushed deeper into the country. Khat aligned with the Adriatics while Judea aligned with the FNRA, opening up a front in the middle east as Ortilia and Khat pushed into Italian Africa while Judea pushed into the Sinai. To the east, the Luxurian Raj (aligned with the FNRA) suddenly declared war on Luxuria as it announced the completion of its 'preparations', prompting Poavak, Nakmai, and Nay'Bling to align with the Adriatic Alliance and Luxuria. The Luxurian Raj attacked into Nakmai and Atherton Beach.

After extensive preparations, Yetia continued its advance by declaring war on the UQLSR. Seeing this as their chance to break away from the UQLSR's hardline communism, Mylonagrad, Carbon, East Tritonia, Mylatsk, Rusia, Bashkortostan, Mephisinia, Kalmykia, Turkestan, Belarus, Red Ruthenia, Yamalia, Carbon, and Lineland revolted against the UQLSR, though tensions among each other were quite high. Luvakhia (who remained loyal) and certain Linelandic communists moved to crush the revolts as Yetia and the revolts rushed to stop them. While the UQLSR in Luvakhia saw initial success, Kalevala suddenly joined the FNRA and attacked them from behind, breaking their war effort as the FNRA and the revolts began pushing into Luvakhia, prompting Luvamatrilia to secede as well. Kalevian soldiers quickly occupied the city of Pietari as they proclaimed their intentions to restore Kalevala's 'peak territories' while the UQLSR fled past the Northern Drina. The FNRA and Revolts crossed the river after some fighting, encircling the UQLSR at its final stronghold in Medhezaliv, where they were soon defeated. The UQLSR remnants in the Caucasus were soon also destroyed as the Kaukasian SSR faced revolts from the Second Republic of Azeria and State of Greater Hayastan, with the Hayastani forces occupying both other states. All of the sudden, one of the laser towers that ended up in Rusia's territory began charging up its Regenerator function, prompting Red Rus and Mylonagrad to urge them to stop as Rusia all of the sudden prepared to fire its regenerator into Red Rus, only for a beam from there to fire first. The Rusian tower attempted to deflect it, but the supercharged bolt of regenerative energy which formed was too much for them to handle as it struck throughout their country and blasted a stray shot beyond their territory. Rusia was reformed into the Second Realm of Westov, who claimed to be completely unaware of Rusia's existance. The stray bolt eventually struck western Yakamoto, prompting Mylonagrad and Carbon to investigate what it was regenerating them into, finding out that they were turned into DNA from Carbon, prompting them to send the encrypted information used to generate the bolt to Gensokyo for analysis, who soon returned them the classified decrypted data. Yakamoto demanded explanation, but was ignored as Gensokyo arrived to investigate the site where it struck Yakamoto, as the Chugoku region had completely sealed itself off from the outside world. After a couple days, Gensokyo's team exited the sealed off Chugoku region with 'everything they needed' yet still refused to explain anything as the Republic of Izumo was formed in the region. Nearby, Lineland launched a massive offensive against the Linelandic Red Army, forcing them into the UQLSR's former occupation zone of northern Kitayato before they (Lineland) and Turkestan both exited the war.

Fighting broke out between Red Ruthenia and Westov, who was "supported" by Bashkortostan until Westov fell apart due to 'losing cognitive function', prompting Bashkortostan to try to invade. Westov still spoke despite losing, continuing to ask who Rusia was as it absorbed Red Rus. Bashkortostan initially celebrated until it realised that there was something very wrong with Westov, who began attacking them. With the aid of every other eastern post-Tritonian state, Westov's advance was slowed, giving Carbon enough time to quickly prepare another regenerative blast to destroy Westov. This blast struck Westov and destroyed it, allowing the Eighth Quatritonian Empire to take its place, aligning itself with Yetia's efforts. With no other way to survive than to work together, all of the Carbon, Bashkortostan, Mylonagrad, Mylatsk, and East Tritonia were forced to merge into the 'Federation of East Tritonia' while Kalmykia and Mephisinia joined into the 'Federation of Greeks and Turks'. Hyperborea aligned itself with the FNRA and Lineland aligned itself with the Anti-Quatritonians while Yamalia and Luvamatrilia exited the war. Much like the government which had ruled Quatritonia during World War 10, the country shut itself off from the world as no one was let in or out despite collaborating with others. The Palladian Black Army betrayed the Yetians, joining with the Anti-Quatritonians. Palladia asked about the AQS' plans on how to attack into Quatritonia, only to be told that it was essentially impossible as Quatritonia was far too defended, thus they planned to try to gain the help of the former Rus Alliance. Fighting began in the caucasus as Greater Hayastan and began disputing over each other's inefficiencies, prompting Hayastan to invade while Yetia and its allies advanced in Europe. Hayastan's offensive was soon destroyed as it ran out of steam, leading to internal turmoil as Azeria broke off once more and began pushing towards Kazrezhye alongside the Kalmykians, while Apothelis was successfully convinced to join the war effort. Once Hayastan capitulated, Sarpistan's and FGT's armies rushed to the anatolian front, while Azeria reorganized the non-Hayastani sections of 'Greater Hayastan' into a loose collective of self-governing regions under their oversight. A series of border clashes between Svealand and Kalevala at the town of Utsjoki lead to Svealand and Scandimar being dragged into the war as the FNRA declared war. By now, Quatritonia and Yetia prepared their offensive and charged across the Volga as fighting continued in asia, where the Xiang clique integrated the Gansu and Sichuan Cliques as it began competing with the URAS over the loyalty of the other warlords. After a period of turmoil, Sizzle fell under the rule of the Xiang Clique as the monarchist 'Empire of Sizzle' was formed, using their combined might to launch a massive counteroffensive against Yakamoto and Taiwan.

The situation for East Tritonia grew worse and worse as Mylonagrad soon became a front-line city while in Izumo a strange glow began to emanate. The Luxurian Raj suffered significant defeats as it was pushed back and cut in two at the Indus, allowing Sizzle and Apothelis to push aggressively into their territory while Judea capitulated and the Ceylonese Pirates defected. East Tritonia realised that in order to win they would have to cut off Quatritonia's power supply, prompting Ortilia to realise that said supply would likely mostly be coming from Yetia due to the territory that Quatritonia held, thus missiles were fired onto the Niederbach Industrial Complex, causing power fluctuations intense enough to allow East Tritonia to re-assert control over the Laser Tower Array while Sizzle began finally sending its armies westwards despite the fall of Svealand and Scotland. The Laser Towers fired their regenerative blast, reforming Quatritonia back into Rusia. Yetia's hold over its northern flank began to break as Luvakhia revolted, though soon this revolt was split into two factions as the Anti-UQLSR 'Luvakhian People's Party' aligned with the Adriatic Alliance wile the National Communist Vanguard continued pushing for a restoration of the UQLSR. Rusia and Mylonagrad began preparing to instigate a uprising in Hispania as insurgencies began spreading throughout Najova and Svealand, prompting Kalevala to begin seeking conditional peace. While the Rus sphere struck into Hayastan once more which lead to Azeria revolting again, Yetia launched a military operation against the defecting Kalevala to prevent it from leaving the war, soon securing a loyal government in place once more. Khat began making use of its various communist contacts within enemy territory to destabilize them while Turkestan declared war on Yetia, leading to the Second People's Republic of Tanume, People's Republic of Hispania, and Kalevian Proletarian State rising up. While Yetia did manage to push back a little bit on some front, the ever-increasing number of partisans began to quickly overwhelm the Yetian front, prompting them to start retreating to better defensible positions to prepare something, prompting Alyphia to advance to try to contain them. Large numbers of Yetian forces concentrated in the far-east of their front, striking south from Westithon into the Volga, forcing the Rus to rush to prevent their advances.

As the war kept going on a strange glow began emanating from Izumo as the people of the world began feeling dizzy, illuminating both Yata and Theia as the sun grew brighter as bright white streams of energy spewed out of people, twisting into the sky and connecting with another stream connected to another person. As people took notice of the tangle of energy-streams throughout the sky, the first two connected people to walk up to each other exploded catastrophically, occurring throughout the frontlines as well as connected soldiers of each side exploded. Rusia took advantage of this to adopt a controversial strategy where vans containing two connected people divided by a barrier were sent into the frontlines and then allowed to interact, causing massive enemy casualties as Yetia's armies fled to avoid the explosions. Asophania came to realise that what was happening was an instance of a different SDS-001 proposal than the one which caused the Daybreak, conversing with Carbon about how they believed that it functioned as some-kind of 'total annihilation' akin to how a particle and a corresponding anti-particle may be created, annihilating each other on contact. As Gensokyo had previously been inside Izumo (who Asophania deemed was almost definitely responsible for this), Macanaland tried desperately to get in contact with Gensokyo to no avail as suicide-bombs rocked the european front, angering Rusia's allies greatly despite Yetia fleeing. Fearing what may happen from the rampant deaths that the Annihilation was causing, many rich Tritonians fled onboard a spacecraft that orbited Yata, with no connected pairs being allowed onboard simultaneously.

With more and more casualties occurring, Yetia grew frustrated and had an outburst, accusing the Adriatic Alliance of starting the war and mistreating its people prior to it to the point of rendering the country bankrupt and starving, speaking of the various conflicts that lead up to the war. This seemed to catch the attention of Rusia, who created a third side opposed to both others which Mylonagrad surprisingly joined as well, leading to a civil war amongst the Tritonians between the 'Federalists' (Carbon, East Tritonia, Mylatsk, Kalmykia, Mephisinia, Red Ruthenia) and the 'Rusian-Mylonian Pact' (Bashkortostan, Rusia, Mylonagrad). As the two factions argued, Lineland considered intervention but relented due to East Tritonia's fears of the suicide-attack tactic spreading and only occupied the Kemerovo region. Mylonagrad failed to attack through the heavily defended Mylatsk, so it pushed westwards into Carbon alongside Bashkortostan. Mylonagrad became increasingly erratic as it shouted at the Federalists about how they were 'Re-Exodus Fools' that never appreciated any sacrifices given to them. Mylonagrad and Bashkortostan rushed into Carbon while Rusia invaded Red Ruthenia as Mylonagrad proclaimed that Tritonia was a failure which shall not be repeated. Carbon collapsed and begged the others to get to Asophania, prompting Mephisinia to evacuate much of its population into Sarpistan to avoid the suicide bombers, though only the region's turkic population was sent across the border as the greeks were left behind. Red Ruthenia was the next to fall, forcing Mephisinia and Kalmykia to capitulate while East Tritonia and Mylatsk held up their defences, forcing the Rusian-Mylonian Pact to sign an armistice as they had no way to breach the defensive lines. Having secured everything west of Almatsk, Mephisinia, Kalmykia, Carbon, Rusia, Bashkortostan, and Mylonagrad were unified into the "Tritonian Confederacy". The new Tritonia thus exited the war as it hated both sides, while occasional sporadic insurgencies continued among the two Tritonian factions.

Fighting continued against Yetia once more as the Yetians signed peace with Palladia in return for allowing their Black Army to persist as the miniscule Kyiv Commune, while in the east occupied Hayastan was broken apart for the final time. Choros grew apathetic at the idea of victory, but Apothelis reassured them to keep fighting despite how bleak the situation was. Tanume noted that the northern front was far too defended, prompting Najova to speak up and reveal that its front could theoretically be overwhelmed. Kalevala however had the best idea yet, suggesting the usage of tunnels and paratroopers to attack them from behind as using a tunnel from Red Army to Palladia was unfeasible. Yetia was caught off guard as enemy forces popped up from behind them as Apothilene planes bombed from above, proving that the strategy worked as Alyphia invaded Scandimar while Yetia was distracted with losing on the other fronts. Yetia accused its enemies of trying to rip its country apart once more, proclaiming that it couldn't let this happen, that it couldn't let its people suffer again. Poland was the first to surrender as Yetia's frontlines collapsed as fighting inched closer and closer to Yetia City. Hyperborea left the war while Yetia began preparing its nuclear arsenal according to Hispanian intel. Asophania raised shields above Yetia to prevent the usage of such weapons, leading to an argument between the two as they argued over their dark histories and how retaliation ends up going if tried. Yetia grew frustrated and fired its missiles, only for them to hit the shield and fall back down onto the country, ending the Yetian war effort. Oceania cut itself off from the world, Taiwan surrendered, remaining Luxurian Raj forces in Luxuria surrendered, Catania left the war, and Kitayato surrendered. Yakamoto raged at its defeat and initially refused to surrender before Izumo remarked about the destruction the ongoing SDS-001 event was causing, convincing Yakamoto to surrender in frustration as the war ended at last.

Following the surrender of Yakamoto, the following peace terms were agreed upon;

• Kaukasia and Azeria were recognized as fully independent.
• The fascist 'State of Greater Hayastan' was reorganized into the 'State of Hayastan'.
• Judea was partitioned between Khat and Sarpistan.
• The 'State of Italian Africa' was partitioned.
  • Ortilia annexed Tunisia.
  • Khat annexed its former western territories it lost in World War 18.
  • Tripoli was restored as an independent state.
  • Jeriya was restored as a Khat-aligned socialist regime.
• The 'Luxurian Raj' was partitioned.
  • Synora and Nilastan regained independence.
  • Sizzle annexed border territories in Badakhshan, Yangoon, and Wan.
  • Nakmai annexed Yangoon.
• Sizzle annexed Taiwan, Kitayato, and Meninguo.
• The region of 'Minguo' was placed under Sizzlean occupation.
• Kemerovo existed as a buffer state for 20 seconds before being annexed by East Tritonia.
• Luvamatrilia annexed Syktyvkar.
• Kalevala annexed Novgorod and the rest of 'Western Luvakhia'.
• Belarus annexed border territories from Palladia.
• Palladia was restored as a democracy.
• Scandimar was restored.
• Poland was reorganized into a democratic constitutional monarchy.
• Choros annexed Thessaloniki and North Epirus.
• Najova annexed Crna Gora.
• Yetia was partitioned.

The next priority of course was to solve the Annihilation, which would necessitate contacting the closed off Gensokyo. As Macanaland's attempts kept failing, Iujadogia noted that it knew just who to send.
