Strange energy anomalies were detected in Alyphia and Theia's south pole as auroras could be seen across the world. Alyphia and Macanaland went to investigate this, as suddenly Macanaland's compass spun wildly until it pointed south past what was meant to be the south pole, while Alyphia's did the same for the north. The two to sent boats on their respective planets to find the new pole, only to run into each other as satellites showed that Theia and Yata had somehow merged.
Hongerswak and Duloc immediately argued as they called each other peasants, leading to Hongerswak asking Uganda to send the Ugandan Knuckles to Duloc, which they did, leading to some chaos. Osania had a conniption and yelled about how it wanted to never merge with the 'warmonger planet' which Feur Island tacitly agreed with, so they began cooperating against Yatan boats. West Malia theorised that the cause behind this was the drastic drop in Yata's Void Energy levels having destabilized the local spacetime. Osania agreed with Duloc about how terrible of a situation this was while they convinced Yakamotomoto that the Yatans would come and spread war to them, while Osania also began making a blockade between the two planets. Yakamotomoto was concerned about how all the wars on Yata were negatively affecting its people, while Isernotaria and Feur Island were radicalized into helping with Osania's blockade, while Duloc began planning to "cut the planet in half" which would be easy according to Duloc as it was a flat earther. Alyphia did not know if reversal was even possible, or how it even happened. The blockade disrupted trade between Tritonia and Macanaland, so they were forced to trade via air, though Iujadogia and Macanaland could now join the Rus Alliance. West Malia began working on a way to undo this by repairing spacetime, which Osania began forcefully helping with, soon being followed by Catacoria, Gensokyo, and Tritonien also participating.
West Malia eventually came to the conclusion that the only way to undo this was to replenish Yata's Void Energy reserves, which Yetia claimed it could do by restarting its old Void Wells to generate more of it. Nihilantis still found itself trapped in Dimension 273-a-62 and was desperately trying to find a way out, but something was seemingly keeping them in as some force was physically blocking any jumps to Psuedospace, leading to its proxies suspecting that the Red Leader was responsible.
