Abyysky announced that the 'enforcement of the next vassal' was now coming, promptly declaring war on Yamalia as it proclaimed the beginning of the 'Purification of the Northern Wastes'. Tsar Tank Fedorov of Yamalia freaked out and quickly rushed to leave the country into Luvamatrilia until it became obvious that the border region was what Abyysky was attacking, so he instead fled into Sizzle-Russia due to currently being by Katryk instead of Salekhard, eventually having to make the rest of the way on foot due to the car breaking down. Abyysky first captured the city of Salekhard after a deadly battle, prompting the remnants of Yamalia's army to begin organizing counteroffensives by first attacking into Lenkinograd before marching down and capturing the seemingly abandoned Abyyskan capital of Linasgrad, finding it in ruins with strange banners draped all over it. Abyysky continued its own attacks at this point, cutting off Katryk before sweeping over a majority of Yamalia. The Yamalian army trapped in Linasgrad soon came across a number of mass-graves and concentration camps just as they learned of the fall of the final resistance in Yamalia proper, prompting them to soon surrender after Linasgrad was reclaimed and they were forced into the wilderness. Against all odds, Tank Fedorov managed to survive being stranded in rural Sizzle-Russia in the middle of winter, luckily also having a Abyyskan radio with him to get updates.
