A series of unusual occurrences began being reported in various countries, with groups of around 50 people mysteriously disappearing and returning with different personalities, with later tests proving that they had been been turned into Hybrites. Sipedro attempted to hunt them down to stop them, only for their president Pedro El Fiesta ending up in the hospital after crashing a police motorcycle, leaving vice-president Juan in charge to deal with the ongoing situation.
Moving their base of operations to Antarctica to avoid detection during this situation, the Hybrite leadership came across Red Leader hiding out in YARS. The Hybrites asked who he was, yet he proclaimed that they should be the ones that explain themselves first to justify why they should not be wiped out. They both noticed they had a common enemy in the form of Yetia, thus leading to the Hybrites agreeing to cooperate with the Red Leader in return for their survival. In order to improve each other's capabilities the Red Leader upgraded the Hybrite Empire's weaponry to be more effective, as well as providing them with advanced exoskeletons to improve their capabilities as well as making one for himself.
The Red Leader directed the Hybrites to first invade Spisos, with the Red Leader first trying to confuse them by making blood rain above the country. The Hybrites raised some concerns about this operation, yet were instructed to go along with it anyway after capturing various world leaders, launching a invasion into Spisos while chaos began erupting across the rest of the world thanks to the Red Leader opening countless gateways into the Late Void, spilling out void energy that only further empowered him. The Giver would soon also appear, handing the Yetian military an artefact capable of trapping the Red Leader within in it, stating that it must be thrown into the Late Void to trap him there forever. People across the world either began fighting back against the invaders or fleeing into the undocumented unclaimed areas of the world, though this too would be for nothing as the Leader opened more portals and launched more beams. Seeing everything as hopeless, Sipedro contacted the Yeqwiqu Collective to come help, which they agreed to by sending soldiers and ships to help fight against the Red Leader. The Red Leader exerted his power over his Hybrite 'allies', contorting them into mindless creatures. One of the Red Leader's portals had grown to the point of beginning to consume Yata as a whole, panicking everyone even further until Yetia used the artefact they were given to capture the Red Leader within it, leading to all of his technology and portals to begin collapsing in on themselves and paralyzing the Hybrites, leaving considerable damage onto Yata and Luna. Hoping to seal him away for good, Yetia threw the artefact containing the Leader into a deep crack that had appeared during the chaos to seal it in Yata's core.
