With Poavak restored as an independent state following the fall of the New Luxurian Empire, the Free Poavak Army was quick to organize itself and launch a revolution against Suharto as Luxuria, Sipedro, and Yetia all supported their cause. In an attempt to cling onto power Suharto ordered the usage of chemical weapons on the FPA, which did little to stop the advance of the rebels. After mere weeks, all of Poavak except the government district of Jakarta had fallen to the rebels as Suharto barricaded himself in Fort Benteng. The FPA promptly set up mass ammounts of artillery to blow open the fort, allowing them to march inside and detain Suharto, who was promptly executed for his warcrimes and replaced by President Joko Widodo of the new Republic of Poavak.
