Rise of the Freedom and Prosperity Agreement
In order to prepare a second Assassination Attempt on Karl Ludwig D'Elsa, the National State of Vedaburg and the National State of Italy decided that Yetia bust be much more destabilized to allow for sufficient chaos for them to break free, deciding to form the 'Freedom and Prosperity Agreement' as a front for their operations, successfully convincing Malta and Choros to join their operation. Vedaburg's next plan was to increase support for Jürgen Neumann, Valerie Béliveau and Ernest Zupančič as opposed to the arguably most favourable candidate of Jonas Krause in order to destabilize Yetia enough to cause chaos once Karl was killed. The first task the FPA pursued was to garner more allies, first recruiting Poland, and then Ireland. While Vedaburg investigated the loyalties of the African National-Sates Italy unsuccessfully tried to recruit Mann. Vedaburg revealed that Jeriya, Equatoria, Saharia, and Bornuvia were the best options in the region as Darfur was a staunch loyalist and North Khat was unreliable due to the military presence there. Jeriya, Equatoria, Saharia, and Bornuvia all accepted the offer to align with the FPA, leading to Vedaburg going back to research more ways to destabilize Yetia while Tanume was swayed to join the FPA thanks to Italy's efforts. Vedaburg's research allowed them to deliver Italy a much more comprehensive report, revealing that Svealand and Tulimein were good candidates, West Hayastan was a loyalist, Britannia was unclear as it would strain their pre-existing alliance with Ireland, Palladia was mixed, Tritonia was a wild card due to being run much more directly by Yetia than most, Kaukasia was a loyalist, and Iceland was unlikely but theoretically possible. Italy thus recruited Svealand and Tulimein. With the FPA at necessary levels of influence, Vedaburg and Italy set out to influence the loyalties of Yetia's provinces to destabilize it, managing to spread 'Zupancist' influence into the balkans and 'Beliveauist' influence into north africa, greatly destabilizing the Yetian State.
