The first public instance of Eirnics was reported on a Linelandic colonial voyage ship, They send the Eirnics to Linasburg for research.

News of the incident went around, leading to a moral question regarding the experimentation on allegedly sentient beings arising among the public, whom were divided on whether to find out the technology or to leave them be since they claim to be alive. In the Linasburg Research Institute the Eirnics were opened up in order to figure out why they were sentient, prompting the Eirnics to render the scientists to unconcious in order to escape, leaving graffiti saying "We're alive" "We are not war machines" "We are not weapons" "We are alive".
