Emperor Li Xiang of Sizzle died of a stroke after many years of rebuilding Sizzle's position to the world stage, leading to his 13-year-old son Chonglin Xiang being crowned as the new emperor. Lineland, despite acknowledging that the two hated each other, offered to launch a joint invasion of Sizzle in order to destroy their common enemy. Lineland rushed across the borders while Yakamoto landed across the coastlines, with Lineland quickly rushing to the royal palace in Beijing which lead to the capture of Chonglin Xiang. With the emperor captured, prince Zhengsheng Xiang (who was 7) and anew regency was formed at Shangri'La, forcing Lineland and Yakamoto to push even deeper into the country while Lineland began holding referendums regarding the conclusion of its provisional government. Sizzle's instability also allowed Taiwan to break away under a democratic government, only to be immediately overthrown by their former dictator Tsai Qin, who brought them to war against Sizzle. The results of Lineland's referendums would soon come in, concluding in a victory for the Linelandic Communist Party who declared the 'Linelandic Soviet Republic', only for them to be immediately overthrown by the Second Linelandic White Guard in a coup which saw the formation of the 'Second Linelandic Empire', which prompted the Linelandic Red Guard to attempt a counter-coup which forced the White Guard to relocate to Ozergorod, leaving Linasgrad under the control of the Soviets. The Empire remained aligned to the efforts against Sizzle, vowing to deal with the communists later, despite failing to drag Yakamoto into their internal issues. While the north saw significant success, Sizzle retook all occupied coastlines in the south, which lead into Sizzle launching a surprise invasion of Kyushu as well as launching a major counteroffensive on all fronts. Polsk then accidentally nuked Beijing for some reason, which Sizzle wasn't really affected by as it was still occupied.

The entirety of Sizzle's government functions were seized by the Regency consisting of generals and politicians at this point with consent by the child-acting-emperor Zhengsheng, leading to some controversy. The increased discipline from these reforms allowed Sizzle to launch a major counteroffensive that pushed the Yakamotians and Linelandics back, leaving the two confused and without a plan beyond trying to support rebels and gathering more allies. Polsk demanded the fighting stop at once or it would 'go sicko mode' without clarifying on who they were or why they were here, coinciding with Polskan ships entering Sizzlean airspace. As Yakamoto contacted Synora for aid, Polsk joined the war against Sizzle, which prompted Sizzle to align itself to the Linelandic Soviets, which made a revolt against Sizzle in Minguo align with Yakamoto and Lineland. Polsk began sending down dropships into Sizzle, though many of them were shot down which prompted Polsk to begin glassing Sizzle with nuclear weapons and beams. A million Polskan soldiers rushed thru Anakistan while Sizzle's very outdated ships prepared to fight back. Lineland began dedicating forces to holding back the Sizzlean offensive into its land, while Polsk managed to cross the Tian Shan mountains with 2 million lightly armoured Anakistani conscripts. Polsk began clearing out the Turkestani resistance before bombarding Sizzle's coastlines enough to send in soldiers to invade, conscripting many civillians into their army, which was enough to mitigate Sizzle's instability as an 'united front against the invaders' formed, so Polsk began sending Ghost Soldiers to assassinate major leaders. Polsk pulled in more reserves to deal with the Turkestanis while fighting continued between Sizzle, Lineland, and Minguo in Sizzle's favour. Sizzle stopped advancing into Lineland as it focused on the other fronts as Polsk's Minotaur Class ships bombarded Sizzle's major industries and infrastructure. Polsk suddenly began retreating, so Sizzle cautiously advanced as they feared a surprise attack as they suspected that intel about internal dissent could be fake. Polsk turned around and launched a massive surprise offensive against Sizzle and Turkestan, forcing many Turkestanis to illegally enter Sozzle, leading to them joining the war against Sizzle. Polsk began giving its soldiers 'non-addictive meth' to try to advance quicker while it kept assassinating major political figures with Ghosts. Polsk demanded Lineland do more, but it was revealed that Polsk had gravely underestimated the size of Sizzle's military, so Polsk decided to use nukes while Lineland launched their winter offensive as Polsk deployed millions of soldiers and battle androids. Anakistan was left quite leaderless, so a Lizarbian lady by the name of Luciena Ruiz seized power and was immediately assassinated by Polsk and replaced by a puppet administering the 'Ducal Realm Executive Office'. Polsk's nukings lead to people starting to flock to the Turkestani resistance again, so Polsk tried to stop this with propaganda and giving people drug addictions by legalizing all narcotics. This lead to protests by major muslim religious figures in Turkestan, which made Polsk responded to by banning all drugs and declaring a 'jihad against drug users' and moving their armies from attacking Sizzle over to Turkestan. Sozzle made some propaganda, so Polsk put it in the national museum, gave copies of it to every citizen, and declared it the 'greatest peace of art in the galaxy', so Sozzle thanked them before Polskan Turkestan denounced Sozzle for being drug addicts which Sozzle thought was expected because 'other homosapiens cause Sozzleans to calcify'. Polsk kept attacking the insurgents, building infrastructure, integrating conquered peoples, and bringing in better weapons as bombardments continued.

Sizzle began a major bombing campaign in an unsuccessful attempt to pressure its enemies to back down as it began asserting LSR control in the Linelandic lands it occupied as a part of the 'Treaty of Perezatski'. Sizzle began attacks onto Honshu as it advanced in Lineland, prompting Yakamoto to set up defences at Nagoya. As Lineland kept losing, people began to believe that the 'Empire' was not a government capable of leading them to victory, leading to worries that Lineland may fracture again as the 'Republic of Shipeniye' revolted and Yamalia intervened on Sizzle's side. While Yakamoto kept planning, the fall of Linasgrad to Pro-Sizzlean forces. Lineland effectively imploded as Tritonian-inhabited regions and Minority-ethnicity regions broke away from Linelandic control (with break-away attempts in Sizzlean-controlled areas such as Perzat-Tritoniya failing), allowing the LSR to push in, depose the empire, and execute military-dictator Anatolii Volkov before withdrawing from the breakaway states, leaving only a small holdout of Imperial forces centred around Rurikpavlovsk. Having been left without leadership, the remnants of the Linelandic Empire elected 'Sergei Ivanov' as their new dictator, who dissolved the empire and organized the Third State of Odinarod, which quickly moved to reclaim break-away territories while planning to help against Sizzle. Fearing the spread of Odinarod, the LSR began integrating the other Linelandic breakaways with military force. Odinarod kept expanding as well, vowing to end the 'screams of the conquered' because 'screaming wasn't efficient'. Yakamoto murmured, which Odinarod called inefficient and asked for clarification, so Yakamoto said it was nothing important, which Odinarod also called inefficient. Odinarod remarked how it was annoying that Gorod-025 (Rurikpavlovsk's new name) was where they had to be established due to it being so undeveloped. Yamalia left the war as Odinarod approaches, which Odinarod seemed to not care that much about as it was 'only 1230431 workers' when compared to the twice-as-many workers in 'Gorod-008'. Odinarod remarked that the Soviet government, their sole remaining enemy, was inefficient and peached about a 'false worker's utopia' inferior to their own which still knew how to scream (inefficient), leading to a 'discussion' between Yakamoto and Odinarod about how Odinarod saw Yakamoto as inefficient in some form. Polsk woke up at this point and began sending more soldiers into Turkestan, soon learning that Lineland had fallen. Polsk spoke about how it needed to conquer central asia properly in order to secure its 'ducal realms', prompting Odinarod to remark how it had once 'made central asia efficient' and remark how the term 'ducal' would infer Polsk was a monarchy which it saw as an inefficient mode of governance. Polsk refuted that it wasn't 'technically a monarchy' as it was instead authoritarian with a false democracy meant to keep people distracted, which Odinarod saw as inefficient as it didn't lie about votes and was instead transparent that the state dictated all labour. Odinarod inquired on how Polsk was so advanced as it wanted to learn due to its own technology being stuck elsewhere (in wherever 'Gorod-001' was). Polsk revealed that it was not on Yata during The Great Sleep and was thus able to avoid its effects and advance further during this time, which Odinarod had fascinating as it once also had better technology during 'ADM-001'. Taiwan and Minguo found Odinarod weird, which was an opinion that Odinarod saw as inefficient, prompting Polsk to question why it was even allies with these nations if it saw everything imperfect as 'inefficient' and wrong', which Odinarod explained as something it still saw as necessary until it attained Gorod-001 while seeing them as allies regardless. Odinarod began using Yakamotian ports without permission, prompting Polsk to nuke their countryside as a 'threat' to make sure they didn't step out of line despite being an ally. Sizzle kept fighting in Turkestan with improved logistics while sending ghosts to spy on Odinarod, finding out that while they were weird their main offences were excessive working hours and totalitarianism. Polsk found Odinarod to be extreme and stupid and decided not to pay attention to what they were doing for now, despite Odinarod claiming it would improve its citizens' lives once it had the resources to do so (though suppressing its people's emotions wasn't exactly conductive evidence).

Odinarod used Yakamoto's ports to invade Vladivostok, where its 'stuff was'. The recent 'argument' with Polsk seemingly made Odinarod become much more condescending towards its allows, acknowledging its more lacking trust of them and unwillingness to acknowledge their accomplishments and assistance. Taiwan grew concerned that Odinarod was committing various war crimes, which Yakamoto disregarded as it believed certain sacrifices were necessary to win the war, prompting Odinarod to reassure its allies it didn't kill people because it saw that as a inefficient waste of workers. Odinarod inquired if Yakamoto killed people unnecessarily, which it did because it was a war, prompting Odinarod to call them egotistical as it kept growing more suspicious of its allies. Odinarod spoke highly of how said killings were unnecessary, prompting Yakamoto to interject and call this inefficient at winning a war, which made Odinarod accidentally slip that many of the 'rules' it had been saying it was abiding by were lies. Odinarod then gave a recap of how the Elmoists evolved towards Odinarod's current ethos before teaching Yakamoto how to run society, telling them to treat their people like 'cogs in a machine' and work towards a mechanized industrial society. Taiwan found these discussions to be very concerning and even cruel as the lack of freetime and constant overworking was clearly not a way to achieve happiness in the people.

Growing increasingly concerned that Odinarod was becoming a threat, Polsk offered a cease fire to Sizzle so that they may collaborate against Odinarod. Sizzle was hesitant as it didn't want enemy forces to operate within its land, but it was regardless willing to give them access thru select routes after being told Polsk's reasons to move against their ally. Polsk fully withdrew its forces from Sizzle and moved all of its forces and assets against Turkestan, forcing them to return to guerilla warfare after a little while of using Sizzle as a distraction too let them fight more conventionally. Polsk kept trying to give Turkestanis drug addictions by deploying robotic squirrels that said the names of militiamen in morse code. Polsk offered a peace treaty with Turkestan where it would surrender 80% of its territory, which Turkestan refused so Polsk invaded Caspiolcita again and began massacring militiamen. Sizzle finally convinced Polsk to follow through with its offer of helping fight Odinarod, leading to Polsk beginning orbital bombardment of Odinarod with its entire nuclear and fusion-missile arsenal just as Odinarod began to deploy its recovered technologies, prompting Odinarod to declare war. Odinarod was upset by this as it was seen as inefficient to them, but they claimed the workers would be replenished once the 'network was repaired', meanwhile they sent an army through tunnels into New Sizzle in Sozzle, seizing the city. Polsk desperately bombarded Odinarod with its fleet headed by the Spear of Adun while Soldiers moved to respond to them, causing the obliteration of hundreds of thousands which Odinarod brushed off. Sizzle looked into history and realised they would have to take out Odinarod's control towers, wherever they were. Polsk pulled out all of its forces off of Yata, allowing Odinarod to sweep into Turkestan. Polsk and Sizzle desperately searched for the control tower (while Polsk kept wiping out millions of brainwashed Siberians). Polsk's massive fleet showed up and began bombing Odinarod before moving to capture key points.

Sergei Ivanov was approached by a mysterious cloaked figure emerging out of a previously unnoticed insurgency, quickly realising that this was Svetlana Gusev of Abyysky, prompting him to first threaten to kill her before correcting himself with 'indoctrinating her'. Svetlana claimed that after her 'completion of Abyysky's plan' which they had been working on for the past decades would make Odinarod wish it killed. Sergei didn't believe what Svetlana was saying, prompting her to claim that he should've re-affirmed his oath to the Linasburg Dynasty before beginning the ritual. Foollowing a flash, Odinarodo was mostly destroyed as Abyysky seized its place as Elmo Linasburg re-awakened from the grave. Elmo was disorientated as his most recent memory was his death, so Svetlana spoke of all the sacrifices and atrocities Abyysky had committed as well has her title, confusing and bewildering him even more. Elmo was disgusted by the deaths committed in his name before explaining that even if he wasn't assassinated the House of Linasburg would've died out anyway as he was a open homosexual. Realising that Svetlana saw him as her 'ruler' anyway he declared that he would be sentencing her to death before shooting her and permanently abolishing Abyysky and replacing it with the 'Tsardom of Lineland'. Lineland announced it would no longer have eternal warfare within its borders, offering peace with Sizzle in return for regaining Perezatski. Having taken over Abyysky's (Odinarod's) occupation zones in central asia, Lineland returned these territories to Anakistan and Turkestan, who joined the new 'Linelandic Sphere'. Yakamoto was hesitant to sign peace, but was so confused after being told about Elmo's resurrection that it signed the peace treaty.
