Afterthoughts of a Quarter Millennium

Apothelis was rocked by a series of immense tectonic activity significant enough to cause the country in its entirety to be dismantled, with the major population centre of Shirvan being integrated into the Tritonian Confederacy (with this Shirvan section being the legal successor of the previously independent government) while the Isfahan region became the 'Kingdom of Isfahan' under the House of Yetevia-Anssen, the remaining Azeri-speaking regions formed the 'Third Republic of Azeria', the locals of the city of Hormoz formed the 'Socialist Republic of Elam' after thwarting a Synoran takeover of the region, while the Khyber region successfully fell under Synoran influence as the 'Islamic Republic of Pashtunistan'. In aparty, celebrations of the quarter-millenium had gone quite well, while the peaceful multi-species confederacy in Cotunauinia-Luvuria had never been better despite for now abandoning the project to colonise Mindanao. Asophania was in a much more tenuous position as due to mysterious flooding ACREDEVRO had been closed off for some time now even to salvagers, though at least Denasola was seeing a steady population increase as the two Antarctic governments gradually began to converse more and more as they dealt with disasters together. The situation in the Tritonian Confederacy was tense as many were left with mixed reviews after their president left with 'the Flower God', which was further exacerbated due to disagreements between the constituent Republic of Tritonia and other member-republics (particularly ones on the periphery) regarding the 'Exodus Question', with change being demanded increasingly frequently after the loss of East Tritonia to Lineland in the Confederate Crisis of 231 without any results in sight. The Pacific States began seeing issues with Californian separatists for some reason despite being founded by Californian revolutionaries. Ellaria remained at peace, though trouble was brewing as various local peoples slowly grew dissatisfied with their progressive atheistic regime. Despite tensions between Lutaria and Polsk, Lutaria saw its economic position steadily improve. Macanaland had been in a surprisingly uncertain position as it too had an issue with a reactor like Asophania, with its Latina Nuclear Plant having vanished at the same time as ACREDEVRO had flooded, with venturing to the missing reactor itself seeming to be the only solution. Gensokyo had fallen back under the rule of the High Priests, under whose reign the country appeared to be thriving even with Tenno only returning rarely to guide them despite her statues still continuing to glow. Iujadogia began to see a steady influx of Asophanian migrants thru TERAPRO as the institute's influence grew, with talks of the facility even gaining representation within the nation's government especially as the facility has functioned much like a country many times in the past. Tritonien has been gradually seeing a steady rise in its economy despite the disappearance of Triton, while Kaphi still being left in ruins as many had moved to the Tritonian Confederacy. Geldve had become a major transportation hub in central Theia much to its benefit, although rumours of disappearing trains without any explainable cause. During The Divine Resurgence the Nislandian Range Superorganism had emegred from the ground to disastrous results, yet despite this it still thrived as a major tourism site as it appeared it had returned to its crevasse. The situation with the post-Apothilene states began to stabilise as Elam grew to be fairly prosperous thanks to its shore on the Persian Gulf, while the interior struggled more as Pashtunistan relied on Synora for trade while the rulers of Isfahan were already respected enough to be trustworthy, though Azeria found itself in the worst position as Sarpistan refused to back them to avoid tensions with Tritonia, who had tense relation swith them due to Azeria claiming several Confederate republics as rightfully theirs, leaving them in a isolated position with a weak economy.
